First the negative press story (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-adoption.html) and now an awful song choice.

What's next, I wonder?

They really don't want him to win, do they?

Are they giving him a song that he last forgot the words for, in the hope he will under pressure mess up again live to the nation?

Man I do hate this forum sometimes.

Just wait and see what he does with the song, just because the original is quirky and doesn't suit him doesn't mean he'll be singing an exact replica.
Also, why would they make up a press story portraying the show in a potentially bad light? Everything fed to the press is a Cowell conspiracy!!111!!1!!! #DigitalSpyLogic

Dan Wootton wrote the article in The Sun and he has often leaked stuff given to him by the Cowell camp. Guess Anton must have topped the vote last week.

if anton topped the vote with his performance last week then there is something seriously wrong

That was the worst sound check I have heard on the x factor.

he is in massive trouble this week

Remember the fact that Eoghan Quigg and Lucifer Maloney both topped the vote every week? Anything is possible

Yeah, but how many weeks did Chris Maloney top the vote? And it took a lot to topple him.

Why put him through to sabotage so soon

Wouldn't doubt it. You can blame the forum for suspecting anything, Cowell and his mob have been playing with contestants for years

I am so not shocked by this story. I don't read the red tops but for once I do believe this to be quite a believable article. The man is just way OTT for my liking. An ok singer but crazy facial expressions, in my opinion, does not give the X-Factor the show is looking for.

I doubt that most of his fans care about the tabloid stories, but it is a bit like Paul Akister, he got in because he was popular, then the terrible song choices started and he was portrayed as a an uncooperative, miserable diva, and it worked. No way does Cowell want Anton as a winner, or have to sign him.

I'm sure whatever happens in the show how will get signed by someon, prob singing showtunes, and he will definitely get west End work, what shows will suit?

I thought that I think they dont know who he would sell albums to and they really obs want louisa or 4thpower to win.

I think they will leave him be for now. Let him impress for a few weeks- get the Grannies whooping and multivoting on their landlines. Then he will get the Lauren Platt/Chris Maloney/Janet Devlin/Mary Byrne bag of tricks to get him out.

I feel sorry for him. He thinks Simon is taking a chance on him and giving him his big break.

Meanwhile TPTB (apparently) are targeting him because he's more popular with the public than they expected

Someone above mentioned Chris Maloney and Eoghan - they both reached the final

The song choice is wrong for him. If they want people out so bad, why put them through in the first place?

They prob thought public would find him irritating, and we find him endearing they prob thought they had enough dirt to derail him, but no one believes the Sun

So they have gone for the low blow and given him a ridiculous song which they think he will balls up, . They underestimate the GBP. Anton is well aware of media etc and has a lot of celebrity fans. He remains gracious and thankful.

The producers should be feeling really ashamed of themselves. It makes me want him to win more. I urge people to vote 5x on every device to p*** off the producers even more😳😜😜😜😜😜😜
