It was the worst song that they could have given him, and if he is judged on tonights performance he should be on his way home tomorrow night.

Ah Draught Bass! A classic ale with a malty, fruity, nutty aroma and a complex, satisfying flavour.

Total hatchet job. They should get rid of the overs category if they don't want them to compete. The show deserves to continue losing viewers when it treats contestants in this way.

It's going to backfire. He looked like a kicked puppy after the critiques. I'll be surprised if he hits the bottom 3.
They'll check how his vote compares to last week and readjust accordingly to make sure they have it under control. If it is then we can probably expect something a little bit more suitable for him next week. If not then it'll be another terrible song choice followed by comments about him 'losing his way' etc. |

He won't be bottom 3. When they try to sabotage an act so obviously I think it will just serve to get him votes rather than lose them... It was genuinely a contender for the worst non joke act performance I've ever seen on the show though.

Remember the fact that Eoghan Quigg and Lucifer Maloney both topped the vote every week? Anything is possible
As for Stephan , just can't watch him |

Either way, this blatant attempt at sabotaging Anton is going to provide him with a boost in public votes. More votes = more money = Simon Cowell very happy for another week (ITV too).
He's not going to do anything worthwhile in 18 months time (see Ben Haenow success right now and that's barely a year later). Anton winning would be a disaster - pretty much the whole reason why I predicted him to win. |

Poor bloke, stitched up like a kipper. That performance was a WTF moment, they turned him into a joke act. If Simon really wanted the best for him, he wouldn't have given him that to sing. He was talking bollocks as well saying he thought it was brilliant, his face said different and if Anton wasn't in his category, he'd be saying otherwise. So obvious they've tried their best to get rid of him this week. Dan Wootton, Cowell's mouthpiece was on Friday's Lorraine saying he thought Anton would be in the bottom 2 this weekend as viewers don't take kindly to revelations about contestants.

Just watched his performance again on youtube and it was cringe. Anton did his best with a lousy song and took it in good humour but what a hatchet job. They've turned a good singer into a laughing stock. Simon was even laughing throughout. I'm giving Anton my free app votes but if he gets through, it will only get worse. This show really is the pits.

I disagree. Anton gets so much coverage on the show. At bootcamp you often saw reaction shots of him even when they weren't doing his category. He seems to pop up in other contestants VTs as well.

He was totally stitched up, and I think he knows it.
Even Simon's "bruise" was referred to a bit too much for my liking; he managed to cover it up in all the VTs. But at least if he is bottom three, I am sure he will do a great sing off performance as he is fantastic when they let him keep it pure. |

He was stitched up after topping he vote in the first week.
According to Daily Star the top 3 in voting for week one were Anton - 23% Louisa - 13% Sean - 12% |

Just can't stand the song - it's been done to death. The producers know it and with him mucking up at Judges houses it's no surprise they gave him it.
The production itself was OTT as well - took the focus away from Anton. |

Mine too
The show producers are so stupid. Do they think their tactics are unrecognisable? And they wonder why ratings are falling massively

Watch the VT from last week - Anton kissed him that was all - he was nowhere near his eyebrow. This show goes from bad to worse. |

I was cringing watching Anton last night.
Listened to it on YouTube this morning, in the background without watching and it's nowhere near as bad as it looked last night. |

Anton is a showman so still managed to perform it, despite probably seething underneath he still came out dignified and didn't moan about the song
