Hanging upside down
BlackTarantula
05-11-2015
Before the start of series 9, Jenna Coleman said that this series would involve 'a lot of hanging upside down'. Yet so far, this has only happened in The Witch's Familiar. I wonder if we will be seeing Clara hang upside down again in upcoming episodes?

I seem to remember seeing Kate O' Mara as the Rani hanging upside down in Time and the Rani when I last watched the story on DVD.

I don't recall seeing anyone hang upside down in this series, though.

Clara was hanging upside down at the start of The Witch's Familiar when Missy had her tied up.

Oh, that's right! She then cut her free. I remember now. Planning to start re-watching The Stolen Earth and Journey's End on my copy of the Series 4 DVD Box Set, either tonight or tomorrow night, followed by The Magician's Apprentice and The Witch's Familiar on my copy of the Series 9 Part 1 DVD.

Also going to be re-watching Terror of the Zygons sometime in the next week. Followed by The Day of the Doctor.

I've just bought two books off eBay. Doctor Who and the Loch Ness Monster, the book of the first Zygon story, plus Sting of the Zygons paperback. So I will be reading them soon.

Just today you went off topic in the 'partial regeneration' thread to have a big rant about how you think the writing has been bad this year and you that you think Moffat needs to leave because of it, and now on this thread your saying you've already brought the series 9 part 1 dvd and acting excited to watch it. How does that make any sense?

During the opening spacey scene of The Girl who Dies, it's possible that she went upside down for that as well, sometimes they do that even if on screen you can't see it
