I have an old Cellnet sim which has 3p credit on, and hasn't been topped up since 2002. Is this sim stilll live? I can't ring 1471,can't check credit and can't recieve voice calls, and make them. It just takes me to 02 top up line.

I would have thought that it was no longer valid, but as it's giving you the option to top up maybe it is still active?

I can't ring it, but i'm told " the number you have dialled cannot accept this call"

if the sim cards are not topped up for 6 months they are cut off....

The guy said that in 02, but I can still recieve text messages. I just sent one from my phone to it.

take it into an o2 shop and ask them face 2 face and see wot they say

not to sure... friend had to ask o2 to turn his one back on as it had past 6 months and kept stating sim error...his one was a GOLD number 07xxx 600 300 they put it back on for him
