But of course.

Want to Want Me/Wanna Dance with Somebody
https://youtube.com/watch?v=OyhgIuNoWvo

But my other fave was their rendition of I Will Wait with string quartet.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=RTytQWfcO4M

They had a guy who wrote movie scores submit something for the Salute album but it never went anywhere. I think they would sound really well with lush orchestration. I would like them to record with live musicians to get a fuller sound anyway.

Just finally listened to the album and I feel like the album is a bit meh .. I only like about 3 songs.
Maybe it's because I've just discovered K-pop and they seem to be making better songs.

But, Good Luck to them!!

Well I don't think I'm an "oracle" of DS. lol

After the Adele At The BBC show last Friday, I thought it might've given 21 and 19 a boost back into the top 10 albeit on low(ish) sales.

Get Weird going gold in 3 weeks is excellent, and it's surely going to keep selling over Christmas. I feel like I'm repeating myself again!!! lol

LM have big performances in December. On the 6th is Jingle Bell Ball, then Royal Variety, the BBC Awards and the Top of the Pops. That should keep the album going.

Look-

Elsewhere on today’s Official Albums Chart Update, Elvis Presley’s If I Can Dream continues to see strong sales to hold at Number 2, Justin Bieber’s Purpose is at 3, and Little Mix’s Get Weird jumps two spots to 4.

Outselling 1D at this point.

Considering Little Mix were #6 on Friday with 1D dropping 01-05 in the space of 7 days, I think that proves that whilst Get Weird didn't top the UK chart, the sales speak of themselves.

The whole era so far has been handled brilliantly. I think it's safe to say Little Mix's album will remain inside the top 10 until the end of the year. Of course if they release the third single in January that could really help keep the album selling well into 2016.

Could it be on course to become their best selling album?

Its sure looking like that since its been selling around 33k-35k each week. These are the figures from Music Week from Nov. 3 and last week for GW.

Yes, I really do think Get Weird is easily going to become their biggest selling album.

Incredible for a British pop group to be having their most successful era with their third album. Usually it's a big debut album, with diminishing returns with each subsequent album, but Little Mix have clearly worked hard on putting together a great pop album - and a record company choosing the right singles to keep the momentum going.

I still think Secret Love Song as the third single is definitely where this era needs to start heading once we get into 2016.

Their PR hack threw out a big hint about SLS and the XF final, so we'll see. A lot of people think that song is a lock for third single.

It definitely should be the third single.

Not sure if you mentioned it before in this thread but Little Mix will be performing at the BBX Music Awards 2015 which takes place on the 10th December, and is going to be televised later that evening on BBC1.

So that's great promotion for Little Mix and the album. I wonder if they will do a medley of Black Magic/Love Me Like You or opt for Secret Love Song or even another album track.

They have quite a bit of promo coming up for December.

This Sunday they are performing at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball.
Next Monday its the R1 Live Lounge with LMLY (probably the Xmas version) and a Xmas cover TBA.
Then the Royal Variety Performance (LMLY) Dec. 8
The BBC Music Awards Dec. 10
Key103 Christmas Live on Dec. 11
Top of the Pops either Xmas or New Years

There's probably something between Key103 and TOTP that hasnt been announced yet. They'd better be performing album tracks and not their setlist from 3 years ago!

There's no chance they will do their set list from 2012 when they've got Black Magic, Love Me Like You and well, the whole Get Weird album to boot. They might do Wings and maybe DNA but I'm sure the main focus will be one the new album.

They were just announced to be doing both nights at the Jingle Bell Ball this weekend (Ariana pulled out at the last minute, and for her pains Capital immediately dropped Focus off their top playlist). Everyone is hoping for either a duet with Jason on Saturday or at least a debut of their version. We'll get Change Your Life. They said on Twitter they would be doing "new songs".

Capital showing thanks. Well they did reward LMLY and moved it up to their S List. 75 plays a week now.

It's one song that I always skip. I don't like it at all.

There's no doubt that it will be released, in my opinion. That would probably have been one of the featuring singers conditions, I'd imagine.

Their digital sales are at 4% but they're selling over 7,200 a day! [in physicals]

Little Mix's Get Weird rebounds 6-4, with sales climbing 40.32% week-on-week to 49,430

Maybe helped along by Black Friday sales, we shall see.

Total 177,699

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Little Mix sell upwards of 50k again this coming week.

With their TV promo starting to kick in, Get Weird should easily manage another week as one of the top 5 best selling albums for the week alongside Adele, Elvis Presley, Justin Bieber and Coldplay.

I was wondering if they would finish the next week Top 5. Is Coldplay the only expected big album release?

1 Adele 439,337 [1,239,765]
2 Elvis Presley 96,152 [410,131]
3 Justin Bieber 82,927
4 Little Mix 49,430
5 Jess Glynne 44,879
6 One Direction 33,930
7 Jeff Lynne's ELO 30,777
8 Rod Stewart
9 Enya 30,612
10 The Vamps [27,839]

Boybands not in style anymore.

I'm inclined to say yes. Troye Sivan, Fleur East and Sigma have new albums out today but I can't see any of them challenging for a top 5 entry next Friday. So yes, I think Little Mix could possibly drop to #5 but increase their sales.

Coldplay won't make #1 the way Adele is trouncing all competition in sight - in fact, everyone else might as well battle for #2 instead for the time being.

I can see the top 5 next week being:

1. Adele (250-300k)
2. Coldplay (100-150k)
3. Elvis (100-110k)
4. Justin Bieber (65-75k)
5. Little Mix (45-55k)

I've given sales estimates of what i reckon they will sell over the coming week. Can't see Little Mix outselling any of that top 4 to be honest, but still fantastic in their own right.

I dread to think where The Vamps' album is going to plummet to next week. Wouldn't be surprised if their album drops out of the top 40.

Thursday update

Jess sold 45.9k so far with 10.2k yesterday; #6 Little Mix sold 38.4k so far with 9.7k so far - won't be overtaking this week! - Buzzjack

They may be back at #6 but it looks like they will wind up with 48k sales. They could be hitting Platinum in another 2 weeks.

Also they are on XF this Saturday night in a duet with Fleur East. I assume both artists have some medley of their album songs.

They were at #41 on the Monday update.

1 Adele - 25 (305.7k)
2 Coldplay - A Head Full of Dreams (217.7k) *
3 Elvis Presley - If I Can Dream (88.1k)
4 Justin Bieber - Purpose (73.8k)
5 Jess Glynne - I Cry When I Laugh (45.9k)
