Its the internet equivalent of rubbernecking the accident on the other carriageway. But less likely to cause an accident for yourself.

I would rather neither be seen if I'm honest.

WOW. Just WOW!”

It's obviously a hypothetical scenario anyway as my kids are grown up now. But it's hardly having an unhealthy attitude to sex objecting to your child (I was imagining in my head a child of about 8 years of age) witnessing a woman giving oral sex to her partner in public.

An accident would just be that - an accident and unfortunately in life you do sometimes witness accidents. Not sure how it suddenly became a violent accident a few posts later!

I consider myself reasonably broad minded and my sons have had their girlfriends stay over so I don't think they or me have an unhealthy attitude to sex. The issue is with it being in a public place. I'm actually bemused that people think this is acceptable!

For the LOVE of ALL that is sacred. Only on the Internet could anyone say something so incredibly STUPID!

Honestly. Really? You've read this thread and that's what you came away with?

Not ONE person has said it's acceptable. Not one. It's just not the end of the world or really the cause for all this indignation. That's all. It's pretty clear NO ONE on here wants to see it in public (unless they've deliberately sought it out).

Sure, it's pretty hideous and really quite gross and incredibly stupid and selfish to be doing anything like that in public, but it happens.

Really, there's so much stupidity and ignorance on here. I don't think I realised it until today.

It only took me 10 years. It's no as bad as the tabloid forums, but it's pretty interesting.

Do people just say stuff to be provocative or do people really feel the way they do?

Example: What person reads all the posts on here and then comes to the conclusion that people are thinking it's OK to have sex in public? That's then passed off as though it's fact... It's insane!

you seem a little excited, dare I say even indignant, it's just a forum post, not the end of the world

Seeing as you were the one who called someone else stupid, surely you already know the answer to that.

I have read the whole thread and that was my first post about it - people have said it was harmless - this suggests they think it is okay. I find your outrage at me bemusing and I object to being called stupid.

Lots of people have sex in public, some get caught, some don't - it's not that huge a deal tbh. But having said that, broad daylight in a shopping centre is a piss poor selection of both time and venue, so nil points for that.

By far the worst aspect of this particular case though wasn't the 'publicness' of it, but was them doing it in front of their kids, which not only is a bit 'yuck', but also potentially damaging for the children, and also makes you wonder what else they might be exposed to behind closed doors.

I'd not want my child to witness a sex act or an accident.

My eldest is 3. Currently completely obsessed with who has a willy and who doesn't. He uses public toilets to decide whether a person is a 'lady' or a 'gent'. If he witnessed a blow job I dread to think what he'd do with that new information. It's not something I want him to be aware of until he can understand adult relationships.

We have driven passed a serious car accident on a motorway before. He was full of questions, and I explained it as best I could. It later appeared in his play, but fortunately he'd taken the safety aspect to heart, and told me his cars only crashed because the yellow car wasn't paying enough attention and was going too fast.

as long as we aren't talking serious gore and violent death, I'd rather have to explain a car accident, which he can understand and learn from, than a woman giving a guy head in a supermarket. But that is because I personally wouldn't have a clue how to explain in a way that he would understand, and how to stop him replicating that in his play.

BIB.....Well exactly! I can't believe a lot of the posts on here defend this couple. I agree a lot of people can get carried away in public but NEVER in front of children, especially your own children who you are supposed to be taking care of and so young (3&5). I won't even address the ridiculous suggestion that there would be no outrage if it was a white couple!

The fact they had their children with them is the thing that horrified me and also, the children did not appear to be perturbed at all which suggests they have seen this act (and probably more) on a regular basis!

It's funny how any hostiliy on this matter is being directed at those of us who are condemming what these people did. I would think in the real world our opinion is a majority one.

Also, and I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but while they were busy doing were they were doing, they were obviously being negligent with regards to looking after a couple of toddlers, who could have presumably run off and got into all sorts of mischief/harm.

With regards to race, the last 'shopping centre scandal' I read on here was the woman who claimed to have had her baby snatched by a security guard whilst breastfeeding, IIRC she was white, so FMs discussed the actual case, rather than deflected with 'islamophobia' accusations.

Strange story. It's not as if that act leads to pregnancy.

Absolutely disgusting to do this in a public place in front of children. Filthy perverts, the pair of them.

Why? We're people performing sex acts in broad daylight in shopping centres all the time back then?

I'm trying, and failing miserably to see what that has to do with this story.

Probably back then though, they probably weren't discovered, and it would have been a market, rather than a shopping centre!

I love this idea that people are suddenly only doing stuff like this now though!

I get the feeling that we're all savvy enough to know it has been going on since ..... well, forever. The difference now is that those of us who find the perps a little grubby for doing it ( not to mention those who like to present an edgy 'It's no biggy' attitude, ) get to say so to anyone who is logged on to t'internet.

I'm not just presenting it, I'm living it!
