Nope!

Yes, cleverly done. Still not buying it though.

I was annoyed by Len banging on about there only being two points difference - yes, but only because Peter was ridiculously overmarked in the first place! If it had been marked fairly, he'd have been lucky to scrape four 6s
Yep, no way was that 'jive' ever worth an eight, let alone two of them! Flat feet, no jive action, no energy and just strange in the dance. Yeah, never an eight at all.

What would you rather we discussed on an SCD discussion forum?
World peace. Or Claudias panda eyes.

Poor Helen was in tears after the judges' comments on Saturday but at least she got a good hug from Aljaz so all good.
If I were with Aljaz every day I don't think there would be a thing the judges could say that would upset me.

Not bad for a 45 year old.

Also, on the vote off Bruno said "The couple I want to see on SCD, is Peter and Janette" Hardly sounds like that decision was based on the dance off....

So Len hinted that from now on in all Dance offs they've got to give valid reasons. Bet that's because producers realised how dodgy this result looks for the show.

Len said something about an extra seven points "being up for grab". They wouldn't dare give them to PA . . . . . or would they?

The BBC clearly thinks that Jamelia's claims about a fix are a PR disaster otherwise they wouldn't have wheeled Len out in an attempt to close the stable door after the horse has bolted.

People can decide for themselves whose version of events they believe.

Why on earth would the producers have to remind the judges to vote based on the dance off performance just before they give their choice - especially as they have all judged numerous of dance offs already?
That was the thing that Len said that didn't ring true the most. If the judges have to be reminded each week that that is what they have to do then there is something seriously wrong with the judging panel!

Can you believe Marks & Spencer did a collaboration with Claudia for eye makeup

I don't know, Len seemed pretty genuine to me, he looked like he was being honest about producers not telling them who to score more, etc, maybe it was just a case that the other 3 judges did feel Peter deserved to stay more than Jamelia deserved to stay, for some bizarre reason. I don't agree with them, I agree with Len's choice to save Jamelia.

It is good that from now on the judges are going to give a definitive reason for saving people.
Len - genuine ? I bet he can't even lie straight in bed. For me, he's always come across as some sort of creepy old uncle

The judges usually do make some comment about why they've saved someone, so nothing new there.

I thought that was OK. Len made a very clear statement he didn't actually need to make - that they aren't given any advice about who to prefer, which if it ever came out later wasn't true would now be very damaging. They were sensible to bring out Len, who, maybe not on here but generally, is a father figure for the show, and the idea of having the judges be clear on their reasons from now is a good one - maybe. Or it might be making more trouble if they have to scrabble round for quick reasons that aren't - 'I just like this person more.'

I think all the dance offs will be difficult from now on, there aren't likely to be any that are clear cut unless someone really messes up. They are likely to split the audience, so I think they had to say something or it would just build from week to week and sour things. It might still - these things are not easy to defuse but still worth trying, imo.

It will be very interesting to see how they all mark Peter on Saturday - the judges must be praying he'll do a great VW.

Helen is a sweetie - she's like a bag of smiley desperate insecurities in sophisticated packaging. I will say again that I think Aljaz is the perfect partner for her and she wouldn't have survived this with most of the others. Hopefully the VW will give her a chance to get back some of her energy.

Georgia's training looked great I thought. I loved what Ian said about Jay. Anita's training also looking very good - I don't quite get the head rolling down the arm move, all a bit Henry VIII but I am sure it will make sense on the night.

Disagree with your point but I love this phrase!! Is it a saying or did you make it up? Kudos if you did but, whichever, I'm using it daily from now on

Craig is just a fallible and just as prone to favourites as any of them.

What do the producers do? They decide the order of the dances to suit the show (start big, end big), they decide which order to read the results in to have the most drama. They don't tell the judges how to vote. If they did it would've been leaked a long time ago.
Who would have leaked it? If only the judges know then I doubt they would tell.
Behind the scenes so much happens on shows you don't know about, of course it isn't spontaneous. A lot of what the judges say is actually scripted or written down.

Craig may have his favourites, yes, but certain dances/dancers would not be a ten. I maintain Chris Hollins would never have really been a forty,

I really hope some of you are as passionate and outspoken about "injustice" when it comes to actually important issues
Don't worry I am sure that we all can. We don't need to be patronised.

Hey, tennis! They're "Smoky Eyes", her new make-up range for M&S will attest to that

I think it's likely that no-one will want to risk being accused of overmarking Peter on Saturday. He might even be undermarked. And I expect that (at last) he'll be on second. I almost feel a bit sorry for him, but seventh place on Strictly isn't bad.

He will be dancing in a cloud of dry ice vapour, which only the judges will be able to magically see through.

Nines? What are you on? It'll be four tens at least - they might even add on some bonus points!
What - in the QSathon ?

Hate Peter The very thought.

I just LOVED the generous way he said that Jamelia danced her best, and he danced his worst, and went on about how he had got tens an' all.

All in such a kind and 'umble' way. He's a darling.
Hate the only sincere and decent person in the show? Never!

I think the dance off has lost a lot of credibility after last week.

In future any decision that is reached will risk being taken with a large dose of salt.

If, as Len says, it's all subjective why not let the studio audience vote for who they want to save? At least that would be a democratic option that should be less prone to being fixed by the producers.

God some of you are such moans, you'd swear someone had been murdered
Yes and you would think PA had done it. It's over and done with Jamillia is out. It's NOT PAs fault the judges put him through.
Terrible things going on in the world but people can't let this go.
