I don't hate him. But I am upset about the level of manipulation in last week's results.
One reason I can give to demonstrate that I don't 'hate' him is that I believe as a child he was brought up in a fundamentalist religion that could be described as extreme and some (including me, having researched it extensively), would describe as a 'cult'. The level of indoctrination he would have been subjected too is very difficult to leave behind and I respect anyone that has the strength of character to break out of a cult and build a separate adult life.
I find him insincere and my personal view is that the extent of reality tv he is involved in to earn a living is a bit grubby. But if he was indeed brought up in a religious cult as has been reported and some of his wider family members remain within it, He has overcome massive obstacles in his personal life, simply to separate himself and be a functioning human being not crippled by mental illness.
I don't imagine it is easy having your loved ones believe you are shortly going to 'die at Armageddon' when human society ie 'Satan's world' is destroyed by God.
So I don't hate Peter and it is simply not true to say that everyone who is unhappy with last week's fiasco hates him.
