I actually felt the opposite. On last week's ITT she irritated me beyond all reason. It was like being in a lovely restaurant only to find the people on the next table are braying and loud. This week I found myself empathising with her. I like that she admitted to feeling wounded and unpopular rather than shrugging it off with fake cheeriness. I still find the two Ks a bit 'much' in combination, but I like her a bit more than I did.
If she gets a vote bounce the shrieking etc will come back full force!
Don't say you haven't been warned!

Agreed. When she said she was still thinking about the fact that the public didn't vote for her, I audibly groaned,
What she said was that the fact that the public had not voted for her made her think that people don't like her. That sounded quite sincere to me. She wasn't complaining about the fact that they hadn't voted for her, she said how it made her feel.

To me she is totally fake and puts it on, that's why I don't vote for her and tonight her mask slipped on ITT.

I want Joanne back on CC, Karen does not bring anything new for me anymore. Joanne demonstrates AND gives a practical advice which Karen never did. Not that I can use those tips, but it's interesting nonetheless. And I missed Peter Andre camping it up and touching himself to the jukebox music this week

It did feel a bit awkward watching Zoe gush so much, but it had to be done and I enjoyed the interview with Peter and Janette and I thought they handled it well.

That hairstyle suited Kellie and I liked her being honest. It was another good interview and I thought it showed more of how they do things. They do seem a bit awkward with each other, but both are really doing their best to gel together. Its maybe a case of two alikes finding it harder to blend than two opposites.

so Kellie gets praised for saying people didnt like her/didnt vote for her/she feels sad when she ended up in the bottom 2 yet when Jamelia said exactly the same thing she got critised and pulled apart

how is Kellie saying it any different to Jamelia saying it

Really like Jo on CC and it did seem a bit flat with Karen BUT would much prefer Jo back in main show with half decent celeb as her dance with Gio on Sunday showed she is wasted behind the scenes

I thought the same, there was an outrage when Jamelia did that. And she just stated the obvious. If you are in the middle of a judges' leaderboard and end up in the dance off, people are not voting for you.

Not by me katt. I appreciated Jamelia being honest about how she felt too. Must admit, though, it's my impression she got much more criticism than Kellie has.

Probably because Kellie only said it on ITT but Jamelia the main show? Not that I've a problem with either of them saying it.

I know she's recently had a baby but given the size of her backside now, it was unwise of Karen to present it to the camera.
Much prefer Joanne to demonstrate steps.

It's a lot to do with ' fanciability ' and popularity as well. All the ones that are left have huge fanbases or they've got the phwoarrr factor - some have both and can dance well too. I don't think Kellie has the first two but she dances beautifully.

if we're going to compare them, I'd have more sympathy with Jamelia because it was her third time and in the heat of the moment. But I'm not down on Kellie either.

My irritation with Kellie and Kevin is I feel that they drown their routines in themes and props and cheese, so that I tend to remember the theme rather than her dancing. Which I'm sure isn't down to Kellie. I know Kevin is hugely popular and a big part of Kellie's vote. But I'd like to see them do a dance dressed as grown ups where they just come to the centre of the floor and dance. Even their waltz was loaded down with a story at odds with the music and clothes made of curtains. Unfortunately because they fell into the b2 on a waltz I'm afraid that they'll decide it was too simple and go for more props and themes from now on. Which would be a shame because she's a good dancer.

She is a good dancer, but Kevin won't be able to help himself overloading it with themes and props, just because that's his schtick isn't it?

She reminds me of Flavia.
In the wig definitely.

I thought Kellie looked "younger" on itt tonight or maybe I've got a suspicious mind
Everything was softer about her tonight - hair, makeup and her dress. She looked lovely.

Well for me, it was not so much about the feeling that they hadn't got the public vote and more about the chances of them actually being sent home after the dance off because of who they were up against. Jamelia was always at risk in the dance off, but Kellie wasn't (barring them making a huge mistake or falling over). Plus plenty of good dancers have found themselves in the DO when they were in the middle of the leaderboard and still bounced back , including winners - Alesha (Wk10), Abbey (Wk6) and Caroline (Wk7). Kellie no doubt got a big shock, but she went on about a bit too long got me last night and should have just said they would worker harder to get more votes. Now if she's in the DO this week, that's a different matter.

I usually agree with you BuddyB, but I'll cut Kellie some slack for dwelling on it. Yes, once the second couple had been announced as Carol & Pasha then it was 99% certain Kellie would be saved, barring her spending 90 seconds on the dance floor stamping on kittens, but can you imagine how much stick she would get for implying "yeah, it was shit but once they said Carol's name I knew I was home and dry" and moving on from it too quickly?

I can imagine how something like that would knock your confidence and lead you to much introspection. On the face of it, everything should have been in her favour: she got a decent score, she's dancing with a "public's favourite" pro (however much he might get slated on here) who had never previously been in a dance off, and she could expect to have a reasonable fanbase from her Eastenders stint. If I had all that and ended up in the B2, regardless of whether I was there with Duffer McUseless or Judge's Favourite, I'd be lucky to have crawled out of my pyjamas and put down my chocolate and tissues by last night's ITT, so I'll forgive her answering the direct question she was asked at some length and with much honesty.

When the outgoing celeb is being interviewed they are always asked who would you like to win, rather than give their preference they always say they are all friends I wouldn't like to pick one. Well I would like to hear who said celeb would like/think is going to win. You can be friends with them all but still think one has the best chance to win, the I wouldn't like to say answer is rather boring.

Because it was only Kellie's first time in the dance-off and Jamelia's third. I think Jamelia was within her rights to conclude she wasn't that popular whereas Kellie came across a little over-dramatic and needy to me.
