She's 'Nancy', so it'll be an old bag of washing stuck together with some red football socks to over the knee.

And hobbled boots.

I love Oomph Pah Pah (or however you spell it) as a fun song. It's one of my shower songs. Not sure I'd want to dance to it in a dance competition though.

Poor KK really have had some odd styling and music.. Still, could be worse, at least it's not a rumba.

I agree . Poor Kev and Kellie. She is a sure bet for the dance off this week . I dont see how she will avoid; most of the others have excellent songs and dances imo and they are more popular than her.

the V.Waltz years ago had the nickname the ommpah pah waltz -the signature of the song is ok have no worries they can do a good V. Waltz to it - just hate the fact wardrobe can just give her rags again

Those are some pretty big assumptions.

Firstly, not all champs have great rumba I'm sure. Did Darren and Mark do one? I cannot remember, but that was before dances were passed over, so they must have done.

I'm not sure about the scoring, you can count on one hand those that scored over 35 in it, it's a low scoring dance, I would love him to have a great one, but I just don't see it with what the show has become now.

Looking back at old rumba's and I was shocked to see some like Alesha, where they were actually given the steps of the rumba instead of a 'take' on one. I love it done right, but the pros are just not putting them together anymore. Fingers crossed Aliona can though.

think it is a case wait until you see the dance - I think anita's AT music is awful it is ballroom tango - Jays music is insipid, and cannot bear Helen's paso music

Haha, love a good shower song, mine tend to be from Chicago though!

Having done a lot of musical theatre work in dance, I hate that song, mostly because in comps you would always get a few of the dancers singing this and it's just one I cannot stand anymore!!

What ? Jay's music is gorgeous. He has one of the best songs this week. Quite a lot of people are familiar with it which is good.
Anita's AT music couldn't be more predictable but it's perfect imo. Best song this week imo.

I think that Helen and Kellie draw the short straw here and there are my picks for the dance off this weekend or possibly Georgia vs Kellie. Either way, Kellie is not escaping the DO this weekend imo.

Did Gleb say Anita had never done a handstand before!?! To add to the starting from scratch list!
She must have been a very odd child!

There's doing them as a child and then doing them properly though.

Also I had a lot of friends who never did anything like that as they were scared to, even though I was constantly doing handstands and flips on the field.

Plus it's a while since she was a child.

At least I keep it on one thread, unlike you who has to repeat on every thread possible.

I am so very sure you're right about that. Plus makeup and hair will combine to make her look every inch of 145. If they don't go for broke and decide that for some reason, "Nancy" should be somehow channelling the 1950s.

Next question - is Kevin going to be Fagin or Sykes?

He said he's the Artful Dodger. I disagree with everyone - I think Oliver is one of the best known, best loved musicals included on this list and that is a big advantage. The trouble with theme weeks is the theme will be more important to most people watching that the quality of the dancing. Having a musical people instantly feel positive about is a big plus.

Ah, I saw that. One word Giovanni had just learned from the others was "scintillating." He stood there on Neil's periscope and said, "Giovanni is scintillating." And Tristan was teasing him, saying "What this means? What this means?"

Neil took his camera over to Gleb who was sitting on the curb looking at his phone, and Neil said, "Run your fingers through your hair." He also called Giovanni "Giuseppe" and Giovanni rolled his eyes.

I see Karen Hardy was very impressed with Jay this week-end in both of his dances - in fact he 'stood out' for her in the Quickstepathon. She also pointed out that Helens shoulders went up at times but these issues with her frame were not picked up on (unlike Jays couple of missed heel leads.

Judges need to treat all the contestants the same now and not go harder on one more than the other.

Very very disappointed with the music choices this week. Minus Jay's. I hope however the production surprises me pleasantly but honestly I have no high hopes. I could skip this week. Please Katie go already.

I know. They seem to be seen as the comedy couple. My favourite outfit for Kellie is the blue number she wears in the opening credits - I think that has been her only pretty, feminine dress. Yet the likes of, say, Katie, get beautiful flattering gowns. I know they have different figures and legs but every figure can be dressed to look gorgeous, especially by the SCD experts

Just caught up on ITT and i must say i did enjoy it! Alijaz and Giovanni were sweet together. Alijaz signed himself up for dance classes at 5.................mmm 5 really Alijaz, not sure about that! Giovanni was very funny about Georgia's accent!

I wonder why Karen is not on again with CC next week?

The song choice for Kellie is Either its going to be a massive crowd pleaser or its going to blow up in their faces. Danny Dyer certainly loves to hear the sound of his own voice - he is not even playing a character in Eastenders, just himself.

I thought Robin did well with his chat with Gleb. Must be hard for him to do this sort of thing when all he probably wants is to be a pro on Strictly again.

As with all the music choices, it will depend a lot on how Dave Arch orchestrates them. This can make a pretty average tune one which can be a joy to watch a couple dancing.

I think maybe he meant he was doing it in school not taking himself to the local ballroom.

My son was five (he's 6 now) when he asked me to put him in Dance Club at his school.

It was only a couple of weeks back he got 30 for a foxtrot, don't jinx him.

I'm chuffed with Anita and Gleb's music this week, I can picture the legs flicking already!!!
