I kind of get what they mean about his expression, no matter what the dance his expression remains the same. It worked really well for the Jive and tango i think.

I've seen it occasionally go blank when he's gone wrong, but not for a while and NEVER as extremely as people seem to make out.
It's 'having a go' at something because they can't fault anything else, to me.
And it's sort of really unfair. Louis really WAS a bit disconnected and cold, Jay really speaks very tenderly and powerfully with his dancing. I'm amazed that others can't feel and see it to be honest.
