Vernon Kay on the Friday panel?

They might just as well have dragged someone in off the street.

He was a catalogue model for organisations like Littlewoods, Kays and the like and a knitwear model for knitting patterns.

It's the Rachel Stevens syndrome. You have to be able to see the individual, and with her you couldn't. Jay is the same and the main reason he leaves me cold.

I'm left with the impression of a dancing automaton - and Rachel was the same. I don't think it will stop Jay winning as I suspect there are too many laydeez voting for him for reasons not necessariy connected with his dancing ability. It might make the competition a little closer than one might suspect, though.

Good show but I would rather have had more Craig instead of Ian's musical vt. Kevin and tables again! Georgia and Giovanni are lovely they make me I at the mention of Gleb and plastic surgery. I've had my eye on the floor manager that was a nice surprise seeing more of him.

I knew that much. But there is no way he was a professional dancer.

I gave up after about 40 minutes. I'm sorry to miss G&G nothing against them, but I just think an hour is too long and the panel were getting on my last nerve.

I don't know why Giovanni taking the mick out of Gleb saying 'Stay' I found really funny but Kevin saying he would have a mirror in his pocket didn't seem OK. Hopeless question though - I like Katie but I don't know why Kevin was meant to say to 'Whose pocket would you pick?'

Helen and Kelle's dances will benefit from backing dancers but I hope Jay and Anita don't have them. I don't really like musicals week being this late on in the series - will people just vote for their favourite song regardless of the dancing?

I think Jay has just the right level of performance. I think his different expressions in the tango and the quickstepathon are obvious, for just one example. Other people don't, and that's fine, but I hope he doesn't listen to it. I doubt those people would like him whatever he did, imo. He's got the right level of performance for the people who like him, and that's all you can say about any of them.

Agree about Kevin, found that comment a little odd.

I agree I found that comment from Kevin just a bit too bitchy.

I am entitled to my opinion and I didn't voice it in a nasty or vindictive way. I was not having a go at him and you and I have been on here long enough to know that's not something I do.

When he was quick stepping with everyone else last week he was probably the most animated out of all of them!

Most people are totally getting him .. he shouldn't worry about the minority who aren't and he certainly shouldn't attempt Lisa Riley levels of gurning/emoting.”

Touchy or what?? You have no idea how popular Jay is other that he has never been in the dance off. I haven't said anything horrible or nasty about him. No one has even suggested he should overact. There is a happy medium and bear in mind the judges are watching him from about 6 feet away every week and comment on his emotional involvement with each dance. Plenty of other celebs have made use of an acting coach including Ramps who won. There's no shame in it. You obviously feel the emotion in all of his dances. I feel it in some, but not others. Neither of us are right or wrong.

I think the pros are taking the mickey out of Gleb being a tad vain the way they did with Artem. There's no malice in it.

Kevin and Glebs Mirror
Kate's snide remark about Glebs shiny shoes.
Even one of the panellist re: his allergic reaction ... something about the plastic surgery gone wrong

was not funny at all and quite nasty IMO

I know people think this, but it sort of escapes me. I loved Rachel and I love Jay. They are in the top three of my favourites of all time, the other was Colin.

Yes, he could do it a leeetle bit more, but it seems a small thing to me, and subtlety of emotion not a bad thing. They all have expression.

That's what I think.

Gleb is really vain, and it's a bit of a Strictly talking point, but no one hates him for it, they just rip him a bit.
