Yes, but the men had to lead - the girls just hang on and go where they are steered. I know. I watched series 3.

She said to Joanne that Scott Mills is here tomorrow - so him I suppose for another one.

He's also been good for people watching; his laser like ability to find the camera in a crowd, his waxwork like stance when he doesn't want to play the game or doesn't agree with the conversation, his inscrutable looks and his occasional bone dry wit have all been small joys which have greatly enhanced my viewing.

I just wish that we had seen a little more of his cheeky, flirty side witnessed on DWTS, but I guess having been put in the 'OMG hearthob!' role early on somehow stymied that, unlike Giovanni who deftly steered away from the equally stupid son-of-simone label, possibly because he had no clue what they were on about.”

The 'fanciable' thing makes sense to me. He's too perfect to actually fancy him. It's been an unusual partnership because they're both kind of invulnerable so they don't enlist my sympathy, if that makes sense. It's more that they demand admiration for their joint ability to carve out a performance -- no matter how smoke and mirrors-ish it is.

They're pretty formidable in terms of digesting what works with an audience and putting it into action. Do they even like each other? I can't tell but they're working towards their joint aim perfectly. Their dances always have impact, no matter what the judges say afterwards.

I had no idea at all about the cheeky flirty side of him...

Men also have to do lifts. I know it's not relevant to the quickstepathon but really it should be mentioned as often as possible. Lead and do lifts and ALSO RUMBA (dunn dunn durrrrrrrrrrrrrn).

Agree. So glad Tommy was there. Have loved his voice forever. Great guy and so endearing. Not a great Hayley fan but liked their 'duet'.

I'm glad OTT featured them. It's about time!

This ^^^^^

12 weeks and no improvement on the biggest faults? Not good enough.

As long as she doesn't limbo under it.

Limbo - now there's a dance to introduce to Strictly.

And who else would like to see Aljaž, Gleb and the lads come to terms with morris dancing?
Fred.

"Why do Morris Dancers wear bells?
So they can also aggravate people looking in the opposite direction".

Can't wait to see the lad's faces.

Anyway - what's wrong with Scottish Country Dancing?

Or the Highland Fling? Could you just imagine Gleb doing that?

No metaphors”

I have several times explained the meaning of the phrase. The bears has nothing to do with it at all. And you continue to behave like a Troll. Good luck.

2. Learning this dance exactly

So you both look 'obtuse' to the other ”

Thank you Dervla

And I admire the female pros - they must be really brave for some of these lifts.

The last few pages contain so many absurdities that it was quite entertaining ....

Dancing for the people (ie audience) is controversial? (We're discussing Strictly Come Dancing, not avant-garde "dance theater", aren't we?)
You must think in a foreign language in order to speak it fluently? (I've lived 25 years in a foreign country and still get tripped up by thinking in my native tongue.)
You are doing bears a disservice if you use the expression "even a bear can learn to dance"? (When we use the expression "kill two birds with one stone" are we thus also cruel to birds?)

My point exactly. If you think in your native language it trips you up. And I know - I've been living abroad now for well over 25 years.
