I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I really don't get this "beige Louise" thing.
She is a lovely young(ish) lady, very well mannered ,polite and always smiling. Since when have these qualities been frowned upon ?

Louise is far from my favourite but I agree with you.

If she was not dancing with a Clifton would not be a problem - she comes over as a happy family orientated person I like her

She is not my favourite but I agree with you and I think she is a lovely lady and did some great dances
Personally it's not even because Louise is dancing with a Clifton. I just think that she's very dull; I would've said the same thing if she was dancing with Aljaz, Gio, Anton. .....she seems like a nice lady though so here's that.
To say that a lot of people find her boring simply because she's dancing with Kevin, is completely wrong.

I keep getting that feeling that she wasn't that keen on doing Strictly anyway. bangin' on about her inhibitions, I'm a mum of two...etc.,
I really don't want to know, you accepted the job, just get on and do it.

With her, I'm getting the impression that she's doing it mostly because people pressured her to do it for years and this time she said okay, okay I'll do it.
If I'm not mistaken she has been on the Friday's panel multiple times. I specifically remember when she was there last year for the last show and Zoe asked her once again when is she going to do the show. ....and she said something to the effect " everyone always asks me when I'll do the show ".. ... plus her name has always been on a lot of people wishlist for years so I was not surprised at all when she was announced on the cast this year lol.

I heard Louise say something a little different in a recent interview, She said for years she had been busy with one thing or another then her children came along.As the children are now a little older she felt the time was right , as she had the time, to do something for herself.

Tend to agree.
Kevin's positivity, energy and enthusiasm are exactly what Louise needs and even THEN she can't 'bring it' wholeheartedly, although he's taught her tech very well and she dances it well.
I like Kevin and I'm still underwhelmed by Louise.

I agree to an extent but I like Louise, she comes across very well.

I don't normally disagree with you Bendy but i personally don't think it has anything to do with Kevin. I think this is totally down to Louise herself and her 'issues' around not letting herself go and get into the dances. In fact i would say Kevin is a completely different man with Louise - he's much quieter and i think it has almost thrown him as he is trying his very best to encourage her to let go!
I find it very strange that someone who has danced in some form since she was young and was part of a girlband who had to perform on stage that she has difficulties in letting go. And she was quite a critical enough judge on that dancing show!

No, I don't think so. I think it's down to Louise - she seems lovely as a person but as a dancer she is competent. You know what you are going to get, she will cahm aht and do the routine neatly, precisely and correctly - but there is no 'edge' for want of a better word.
I prefer the seats of the pants-ness of a Jay or even a Danny

I like her too. She's a nice woman and a nice dancer, she just doesn't give it that extra bit of flair and commitment - no panache.
