Ore did a good Rumba but did prefer Danny's.
All of Danny's!

Best male hip action ever this is why I can't take Karen seriously sometimes. She has an habit of saying some of the craziest things .
I was having trouble seeing much of it at all really. They gave Greg a hard time over his hips and I didn't think Ore did much more than him. I mean he did some more, there was movement there, but best she has ever seen?! She just blurts out these things which are instantly seen as stupid comments and people wonder why some don't want her replacing Len?

Len makes equally stupid comments on a regular basis though so I guess it would be comparable!

I'm not sure why but I'm enjoying Karen Hardy less this year, and Ian Waite more.

I didn't mind Karen when she danced but now she is getting on my last nerve. Loves herself too much.
Do you ever get the urge to go back in time and vote for someone else? ... I do every time I listen and watch Karen! I still love Ramps but goodness, I had no idea what a major pain in the ar*e Karen was/is and winning just made that worse!

Karen does annoy me at times, but still feel a bit sorry for her after Brian Watson and everything that went on she was never quite the same after, but admire the way she has built her business and carved out a top judging career

he did, it had rumba basics in there (I am on about the steps) whereas Greg that was metioned above had little rumba basic (steps) in his, whilst saying it was the best on Strictly is stretching it - it was a decent rumba

just fail to see it as a vwaltz it is out and out foxtrot
The time signatures for the foxtrot and waltz are quite different - the songs/tunes for one can not apply to the other - unless (before someone jumps on me) you totally rearrange them.

So sick of Karen (if it is just down to her), that seemed a very unbalanced CC over the two days. According to her there was nothing wrong with Ore, nothing wrong with Louise, lots wrong with Danny. If she`s going to comment on the mistakes of one of the top couples, it should be the same for all of them.

Karen should go to New Zealand more often. She's so annoyingly OTT, that intro sums her act up perfectly. They are probably giving her elephant tranquilizers to calm her down a bit.

I watched ITT for the first time for ages yesterday and today and really couldn't take to Karen at all. There's been a lot of posts saying she should replace Len but she would get so on my nerves.

You're right that this is the case most of the time, however this song is actually in a slightly fun (if you're kind of a nerd like me) time signature - 12/8 meaning you can count a slow 1 2 3 4 or a quick 1 2 3 4 5 6.

I think if you count the waltz rhythm I think it's a little too fast for VW (I'm not listening to it now so unsure) but not totally incompatible - just requiring a slight tempo change.

It's also not really classic VW as it would be in 6/8 and have a different feel but it'll do for strictly imo.

I don't remember everything she's said during this series, but she surely must have given criticism about Ore and Louise at least once. Why shouldn't she give criticism about Danny? That's what she's there to do - to give her opinions. Nobody should be immune to negative feedback.

If she does replace Len, I very much doubt that she'd be like she is on ITT. Louis Spence is much more over the top than Karen, and when he was announced as a judge on Dancing on Ice, I thought that that was what he was going to be like. To my pleasant surprise, he wasn't. He was a lot calmer and was able to give good, constructive advice.

In any case, the times where she pulls faces and the things that people get annoyed about on here is usually when she's showing how to do a particular dance step. The crew behind the cameras that cheer her on when she does this also make it seem over the top. Also, the intro that we see twice a week doesn't help. She doesn't always do it though. When she's talking about how the celebs did, she makes some very good comments and gives helpful constructive criticism and it's clear that she knows exactly what she's talking about.

I think New Zealand already has its hands full at the moment.

Who is Brian Watson and what happened?
He was her partner until 1999, when they split and she retired from professional dancing. He went on to partner Carmen Vincelj in that year, with whom he won the WDC World Latin Dance Championships nine times from 1999.

Here they are in 1998.

Brian Watson was her Professional partner, but for what went on afterwards, that's not really up for discussion on a public forum out of courtesy for Karen. Its not some great secret but those involved in the dance world will know.

One thing Karen will say herself is the end of her Professional competitive career hit her very hard. She talks about how she moved on to other things with the support of her husband on her website: http://www.karenhardy.com/2b2.asp

I find my impression of Karen's comments is highly coloured by the world's longest face-pulling, finger-wagging intro. That sends me into a tooth grinding rage. On the other hand, if I just listen to her, she often makes a lot of sense.

Personally I preferred Jo, Chloe and Neil on CC, but that's not to say Karen isn't worth hearing. Just can't stand her intro.

Just caught up on it this morning and must admit the whole interview with Ed & Katya found myself just grinning like an idiot throughout! Something about the two of them just brings me joy, even off the dancefloor.

I must admit I loved Ore's rumba on Saturday but did think Karen went a bit OTT on it. His hip action wasn't bad but not that wonderful either and at times not obviously there Great thing about watching on catchup though was being able to fast forward through her intro and her demo, she was much less annoying without those two elements.

I think we'll know when they want rid because he'll get a rumba. No room for jokes and lifts in that.
Or Ed's rumba could be the finale to 2016 and break the internet.

Karen's over-long intro would work well as aversion therapy
Surely on the monday when its Live it gives time for the couple Zoe is interviewing to get off and for Karen to sit down, that's the way it seemed to work this monday anyway.
