I follow you and agree

Brilliant teacher, believes in and trusts Ed and is the bravest lady in the lifts

Only My Opinion

I have said this before, I think Robert is arrogant, but tries to mask it with humour. Didn't watch tonight's show, but I don't think he will leave this weekend. He has a specific demography voting for him, I won't be surprised if he wins it, I hope not.

I have to say I agree with those above who noticed his attitude tonight.

I do think he can be arrogant at times, but this seemed on another level and he came across as purely rude to Gethin, even if he didn't want to do it, it's a minute or two and it's all part of the show that he signed up for and apparently loves, so just answer Gethin!
It only seemed rude and not funny, if it was funny he should have broken the act sooner, but he never did.

A little part of me thinks it had something to do with the attention Ed Balls was getting too, he seemed to give him a bit of a look when Gethin was saying how he had swept the nation.

I agree.

To be honest, if I was getting ready for a show like that I'd struggle to be polite to a fairly inane interviewer as well. I wonder if Judge Rinder was referring to Gethin at least in part in yesterday's interview? I don't care anyway, I love the Judge. He loves the dancing which is what I'm bothered about!

I agree with the above, I would also add, very smart, to catch on to what works in SCD and also bring so much out in Ed when he seemed very shy and awkward on week one.

Katya has really stepped up to the SCD plate. She totally embraced the role Ed has been cast in but has gone further by actually teaching him steps which he then produces very well. He is the most improved contestant this season and Katya is very much responsible for that.

I think he was very tired/grumpy- I don't totally blame him- I saw him and some of the others waiting for the train from London Euston yesterday and everything was running late/delayed and this was around 8ish- So there''s a possibility he didn't get in until around 1/2am to Blackpool and then had to be up early for rehearsal- I think we underestimate how tI ring Strictly is and I'll let him off on this occassion- He was definitely very off though

I do wonder if there was something said before interview to upset the Judge. I do have to say that Gethin is not the best presenter in my opinion. It was still rather childish to behave like that, he may have lost votes.

Oh yeah, of course, but still, the one word answer of ye and no, I mean as an adult, you know that's rude, you can be tired and give shorter answers or even just seem tired, but that was more deliberate, even if he is tired.

We might all struggle but manage to at least look interested . He was just short of being rude . If ge was trying to be funny it fell very flat

I thought JR was downright rude and ignorant with Gethin. He may have meant to be funny but he was not.

I think he could be in real trouble in Blackpool, definitely bottom two (and not just because of how he was tonight). I think his time is up, or it could be just wishful thinking on my part. I've had enough of the gurning and the gushing.

The Judge would have been better to say he was exhausted, if that was what was up. Don't think the interview was a big deal, but being in what was quite an awkward, padded, not that fun ITT probably made it seem worse. Everything felt a bit off, or maybe that's just the mood I'm in.

Is that the interview when he told her her questions were silly and annoying?

I think another issue was possibly Gethin trying to wedge himself between Ed and Rinder to chat to them. There was no room on the sofa thingy (and no-one moved off it to make room), so he physically forced himself into the gap between Ed and Rinder, almost doing both of them a damage in the process. At one point, I thought Rinder was going to get an elbow to the face as Gethin tried to get into position. The whole arrangement of that was badly thought out.

That was only a small part of the interview though, he was funny and lovely talking about his grandparents and seemed happy about the Salsa.

Like I said earlier I find him hard to read, if he was being deadpan maybe he overdid it or maybe he was tired, annoyed with Gethin's questions and feeling the pressure a bit.

I've warmed to him and Oksana over the last few weeks.

I thought he was hilarious (Rinder has just my sense of humour), but I do think there was something behind it - whether he was reacting to OTT Blackpool gushing or previous comments about him talking too much, or Gethin's comments about Ed Balls or something else, he was definitely making a point.

I like Judge Rinder but something felt very off with his interview tonight. It was only a short segment but it was like getting blood out of a stone. OK, maybe he sees the questions as inane - to be completely fair to him they are - but everyone gets them and answers them with grace and humility. Humour works but only when the audience is in on the joke (IMO like Craig's reply to Natalie asking what she could do to improve Greg: "Surgery!"); when they're not there's a risk of it falling flat.

JR got humility and humidity mixed up.

Yep, that's what makes me think something is or was up. I suppose it will come out in the wash.

A lot depends on how many people watch ITT that are likely to vote in the main show and how many care about JR being rude or not. They may not care if they like his dancing.

Robert was definitely being serious IMO. Whatever had upset him there is no need to be rude like that. He was extremely unpleasant and it made for extremely uncomfortable viewing. I'm sure it will affect his votes. I'm actually shocked at his bahaviour.

I haven't seen the episode, but do you think enough of the voting public watch ITT??.
I would like him to leave tomorrow, but I doubt it.

What demographic do you think are voting for him sarah? I'd like to know what category I'm being squeezed into.
