I know it all seems to have gone quiet nationally regarding the Gorka "attack" but from the initial reports of him losing his two front teeth, it has now changed to chipping his front teeth. I live in Blackpool and we're all upset about this happening. However, in the local paper tonight it says that despite the police contacting him, he is refusing to make a formal complaint. The police want to interview the 2 people who were with him and are liaising with the BBC. There was CCTV of the area close to where Gorka was allegedly attacked - but there were no signs of an attack..... For some reason none of this has been on the national news or in the national newspapers, like the report of the attack was!!

Interesting.. I was wondering if I missed any announcement on ITT wishing him well after the ambush... guess not!

The Flamingo club in Blackpool - wary of the possible tabloid intrusion I think he's right not to press charges, especially with Strictly still going on. Least said, soonest mended etc. etc.

I'm sure he has his own reasons. Maybe he doesn't want something to "come out" about it - maybe he just doesn't want it splashed across the press and become known for this rather than his dancing. There are too many options to consider so its pointless to speculate.

Glad he's got his teeth sorted out and is back training now. Looking forward to seeing him dance this weekend.

How sad that Ore hasn't felt the need to call his Mum since Blackpool. That tells me they can't be that close. Shame, I hate to think of a Mum sat waiting for a call and the phone just doesn't ring. Especially as he's doing so well in the show and he got to Blackpool, which is a big thing! Whatever the reason though, it's put me off Ore a bit.

It doesn't suggest anything of the sort. He's probably been extremely busy with Strictly, This Morning and other work commitments plus his own family life to call her. She's been in the audience at Strictly a couple of times. She'd hardly be there if they weren't close.

In the reports I read I'm sure it just said that they were on their way there, so to me it could have happened anywhere along the route (about 2km based on a google map guesstimate). It would seem that none of the 3 present have talked to the police, so they probably just checked the footage around the club. This would explain why they saw nothing.

It was so noticeable during the paso that I thought she was searching for an earring or something she had lost earlier. I half expected her to go "Oh!" and bent down to pick it up in the middle of the dance.

It looked to me like her heels were close to catching in the hem of the floaty bits of her paso dress .and she kept checking to see that she wasn't about to go arse over tip with her feet hooked up in her frock.
