So you didn't vote for her because she did 1 below par dance? Maybe you just liked Greg better regardless?
I doubt there's many people who thought she was better than Greg on Saturday and everyone knows that the judges were lying through their teeth about how great it was. Ian and Karen both told the truth on that one.
Up until Saturday I thought she deserved a vote from me which is why I gave it. She didn't deserve it on Sat though and I think a lot of people thought that which is why she was in the dance off. It wasn't so much that she was bad (which she was) it was more that the judges refused to acknowledge it.

Hmmmmmm

We'll see I'm grumpy with her. She looked amazing last week in training!
So what happened between the training and the ballroom?

strange she didn't see or mention the mistakes Ori made🙄
Let's be honest, normally everyone's mistakes get passed over by the Friday panel. Normally.

I am rooting for Claudia and she deserved to stay over Greg. I don't care about the dance off, you cannot send the better dancer home and she has been much the better dancer over every dance, last week was close and why she got the judges votes.

No one I know who watched the show has even mentioned it, mind you none of them were fans of Greg or Claudia come to that.

If that dance was bad, then plenty of others this series could easily be considered abysmal. It didn't suit her - but I can't agree with calling it bad. You state it as if it were #fact.

What the judges do is not her problem - so to justify her position in the dance off with that is pure spite. Craig said on the show tonight that Danny did in fact have a noticeable error with his dance, but I'd imagine you don't think the judges were being unfair with their marks in that instance?

I thought her Jive would be her breakthrough dance. It wasn't. Hence not getting excited about her AT till I see it on Saturday.

I like Claudia and AJ and really want them to have a breakthrough dance to stop this yawnfest of a series being so predictable.

Apparently Ben Cohen wanted to dance with Robin.
Would the Strictly curse still happen?

I have to agree, I thought it was awful and I'm not talking about errors with the choreography - and there were plenty of those. There was no rhythm in the body, it was very "stompy" weight too far back, there were timing issues, no bounce action.
Greg danced a fair QS which he did dance a little better in the dance off. No question in our minds that Greg should have stayed.
I don't support either of these contestants, just saying what I saw.

I find that odd though. I vote for who I want to win, regardless of a slip-up. Everyone makes mistakes and they've all had to handle poor music or questionable choreography at one time or another. I don't vote for the comedy contestants or duffers, but the ones with great potential. Claudia's been very impressive with her ballroom, not so hot with Latin, but I wouldn't stop voting for her because of a weak performance, no way ! And especially not now because I want her to get through. If she doesn't make the Final so be it, but she mustn't go out before Ed Balls at least, that would be very unfair.

When ABC kicked things off I knew we were in for a good show.

So pleased Ed & Katy's are still in cos they're a blast on ITT. They're such a unique partnership. And ever since Neil's dance class the other day I've been fantasising bout an Ed Balls Cossacking Showdance

The Friday Panels this year have been so much better - even if the odd person plugs their book or music it's mentioned briefly and they're properly into the show instead of pretending (badly).

Although I am firmly behind Ed, I have to say that Danny comes across well in the interviews and has said some very down to earth matter of fact things at times. I like him and he is a great dancer. Some of the routines (particularly the ballroom) have been very good but some I have really not liked at all (the AT being the prime one, but mainly the crazily paced ones) - not his fault though; Oti has been paired with a free revving engine and loves to press the gas peddle. He would be a worthy winner.

I'm the same. Last week my three favourites were Greg, Claudia and Judgey. I gave them a vote each. Now Greg has gone I will spread my three votes between Claudia and Judgey. Two will go to whoever I think needs it most and one vote to the other. I must admit Ive never been one to vote for who danced best unless I particularly like them.

thought it was a great show tonight, and it was fast paced, good considering fewer couples left

never seen Ed so relaxed and flirtacious made my evening

He was looking slimmer, too - yet again. He's got to go the distance and get to the final - I want to see that corporation of his completely gone by the time Katya sends him back home to Yvette.

Absolutely - nothing gets backs up quicker than over-marking. Well mine anyway.

yes on the training video on the website it is looking good that paso shame about the music - though my nutty brother who does a lot of latin showdance choreography likes it and thinks if Dave Arch uses the music from the middle of the remix it will be good
Hi nutty brother! I like it too and think it could make quite an intense, dynamic and interesting dance. But unlike nutty brother, I know natheeeeeeng

Vicky Gill must be hoping the same: there's been very little for her to talk about on ITT for the last couple of weeks (and some very awkward moments over that horror that was unveiled for Jo this week).

Not a lot Claudia can do about that though is there? What do you want her to do- pipe up during the judges comments and say 'come on guys, it was a bit s**t really wasn't it?!'
The judges have been talking shite about a few of the contestants this year (and every year). I agree the jive was not good, but she can't really do a lot about what the judges say.

I agree but it doesn't mean that people have to vote for her. They can if they want to give her pass (I wouldn't say it was a wrong choice I've done it before and for all the talk of him being robbed Greg fans have done it before). This is what the judges/producers don't get by patting her on the head they are not helping her or AJ in the long term or the program. Neither will learn they did anything wrong or if they knew it already so they can't improve that doesn't help anyone.

No, I understand that. People need to vote for who they think deserves it. Did I think Claudia deserved another chance even though her jive was not good? Yes- so I voted for her.
I honestly don't think the judges care that much about Claudia anyway- they have their designated 3 they want for the final, and she's not one of them.
I do agree that it is strange after all these years, that the judges don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that bigging people up when they clearly don't deserve it, doesn't do the contestant any favours in the long run.
