Not a lot Claudia can do about that though is there? What do you want her to do- pipe up during the judges comments and say 'come on guys, it was a bit s**t really wasn't it?!'

This just goes to show that votes get cast for favourites irrespective of whether or not they have done well. That really highlights what this programme is about, not much to do with dance, but a lot to do with entertainment/personality. I'm as guilty as anyone in that regard.
I think Dr Alice Roberts should be asked to a programme on the origin of the Samba. She seems to know a thing or two about the origin of humans. Then maybe she could do the origins and evolution of the AT. I like Alice. Vote Alice for SCD. I like Lucy Worsley too, but she would be a ringah. Then there is Maggie Philbin, Brian Cox, Neil Oliver, Jim Al-Khalili, Helen Czerski |

Nobody should feel guilty.
We are invited to vote for our favourites. Not the best dancer. The only dance I can vaguely do is salsa and nothing I have seen on the show looks remotely like social salsa. So I don't think we should look to the performances to teach us about ballroom and Latin. Not any more. Time was. But that was another country. Brian Cox. OK. Good shout. Not that he would ever do it. |

Claudias paso looks good. Rinders rumba looks good but Ore looks as if he still has work to do, I love the idea of a tribal samba but I like samba Bahia more than ballroom salsa. Not sure how the judges will receive it but like that Ote keeps pushing the bar. Should be interesting tomorrow. If Eds not entertaining he will probably be out.

So if it looks like a Paso, it's not a resounding success!

Best ITT for ages. Awesome Panel- Miranda Hart ( Strickly Superfan #1). ABC sounded great. Love Ed Balls, love Craig on ITT ( look out Gethin !). Considering so few left, it's been a pretty good week. Oh and Matthew Cutler (so handsome) and Erin next week!

Best ITT of the series
Love seeing my 2 favourites couples on the show tonight
.Oti and Danny are as usual a delight . I cant stop smiling while wathcing their interview; same with Katya and Ed. Both of these couples have the best chemistry this series.Week 10 and I still dont know what to make of the judge and oksana I like them but Oksana is very hard to read. I still cant tell if she likes the judge or is merely tolerating him I am going with the latter and it's an odd dynamic because he seems to worship the ground she walks on.Best panel this series; by actual strictly super fans who you can tell watch the show and are not there just to plug a book or a song. Even though they were uber critical imo of Danny at times, I still enjoyed the panel ![]() Craig is a darling on ITT. Gethin is a great presenter and so is Zoe. I really, really enjoyed the show. Danny and Ed samba roll at the beginning = PRICELESS ![]()

If that dance was bad, then plenty of others this series could easily be considered abysmal. It didn't suit her - but I can't agree with calling it bad. You state it as if it were #fact.
What the judges do is not her problem - so to justify her position in the dance off with that is pure spite. Craig said on the show tonight that Danny did in fact have a noticeable error with his dance, but I'd imagine you don't think the judges were being unfair with their marks in that instance? People were saying good on Miranda for speaking the truth about Danny (as they saw it) ... her honesty just turned out to be plain old bias though as no way was Claudia's dance as good as Danny's! They are trying to play Danny down, they did it last year too. It didn't work then and it won't now. |

I always thought that judges/ producers having agendas was nonsense, but keeping Claudia after _that_ jive over Greg was wrong and I think that they probably want younger audience to keep watching.
BTW why is everybody so ecstatic over a bunch of old dudes in black in yesterday's ITT? My only impression was, great, now when one watches ITT live they have to sit through at least one song of the invited band

Me too, his AT was accused of being to busy and full of action, the Charleston although getting 40 was also very full on and lots of choreography. I think because she knows Danny can do it, Oti is throwing everything at him and the judges in the hopes wow factor will win out, but sometimes less is more.

She may well put Danny in danger tonight then if the judges don't like her African Samba. I hate it when the celeb gets scored less for doing what their Pro tells them to do, doesn't feel right to me.

I couldn't decide where to post this but as it's an interview (with Robert on GMB) I thought this might be the best place. I thought it might be interesting because he is on his own and seems happy and relaxed.

Where did you get the idea that Miranda thought Claudia was as good as Danny? She said nothing of the sort, merely that Danny had mistakes in his routine therefore did not deserve a 10. She did not say that Claudia deserved a 9.
