First time I've watched one of the Jay/Aliona interviews. He seems like most ex-studenty lads. Just ordinary (in a good way) and chatty, getting by on a bit of charm. No idea why people say he has no personality! Aliona made a lot of sense

Quite impressed with Jay's improvisation. Helen and Anita shaping up well, maybe a few 10s for the former?

Good to see Anita and Gleb's Paso is shaping up to be rather impressive. Would love for her to get a new high score this week. The dramatic dances tend to suit her a bit more.
I agree. I'd love to see Anita and Gleb be the *stars* of Blackpool. She deserves a good scoring week (if they perform well) as much as I'm not a scorewhore who bothers much about the numbers I do think that in her case Anita has been under-marked on occasion.

That said I'm getting nervous about who will be the other couple in the bottom two now because if the king of ballroom does well, and all the signs are that he will ( goodwill towards him and 'Ain't that a Kick in the Head' is such a great track too), then it could be a shock.

I'm wondering if it'll be Kellie? a) she's been there before and b) Kevin has been too ill to rehearse

Oh nooooooooo

I know Aliona can't do it but winners should only dance with a diff pro if their's has retired or left.

Won't like this at all

think it is hard to predict Kellie and Kevs bit we saw was good and exactly in sync - think it will be down to how it is done on the day for who other couple in the do

There really aren't obvious candidates any more... Oh no, I don't want to spend me Saturday evening feeling nervous

It's getting to that point now where being in the bottom two won't necessarily mean a bad performance as the level is so high now. It's quite exciting really, although I'm with you in that I don't want to see Anita fall into that area!

I guess voting isn't optional any more
I'm generally too lazy to bother with remembering my password, or finding where my mobile has gone to (we have a young puppy in the house who hides my stuff in random places) but going to have to do it from now on

Knowing what he is capable of we will be expecting something special. Like Aliona did with Louis last Xmas!

Yes, I just posted on the other thread that she seems a little tall for him.

Expect rage on the forums this weekend after the judges try separating these couples out.

Helen looks great in training, if she nails it on Saturday it should be her highest score yet.

Seems like Georgia is struggling, not strange since her Waltz was not that great all those weeks ago, would surprise me to see her in the top 3 of the leaderboard this week.

Jay and Katie still have some minor things to work on.

Just hope that the backing dancers won't take away anything from the performances this weekend.

In dance competitions and particularly in ballroom that happens so so often - is a good sign that he had the confidence to keep going till end and busk it - for a celeb very well done
Makes me wonder just how much the judges know about routines in advance.
I was just recently reading a snatch of Caroline Flacks autobiography in which at a time of personal upset she forgot her moves during the AT but they improvised and ended up with a respectable score.
