But she's very likely to be in the b2 with the Judge, going on the music. In which case she'll survive. And her training looked great. I can't see anyone other than the Judge going this week.

It seems so harsh for the Judge at this stage. 😶 The maths are against him. Precedent is against him. The whole system seems to say he'll go. I don't want him to win the whole thing but I'd love him to somehow cheat the inevitable this week.

I wouldn't call 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King' a relatively unfamiliar song. That being said, I do think she'll be in the bottom two with Rob because Louise and Danny are almost guaranteed to go through unless they really mess up and I have a feeling Ore will do really well this week. Her training footage looked very promising though and if she manages to smash it there could be a shock bottom two.

That would be a massive faux pas for a song from the Lion King.

Danny does such a thrashy tango that his big wooden HEAD actually flies off into the audience.

Still, he'd get a sympathy vote I expect.

On the contrary, I think she's looking great in training. Plus you might not know the song well, but plenty do, and kids will love it. She could look amazing with excellent lion face paint and won't look any worse than Louise dressed as Doris Day / Calamity Jane

I know, I find it quite depressing to be honest. The system is pretty harsh at this point as its hard not to feel a bit helpless - if the judges want someone gone then keeping them in is one hell of a challenge. Likewise, if they have a favourite then they're virtually unstoppable until the final now!

I do think people are writing off Claudia too soon though, that training footage looked very promising. I think Judge V Ore bottom 2 is more likely!

Just watched the show.

Not a fan of Rinder but thought Ian was actually rather critical. He is far better than the average male celeb, and seems to give the technique a real good go.

As for everyone else, I think we'll be in for a good show this weekend - despite the fact I'm allergic to musicals

He is the worst dancer left now, by quite a way so only fair if he goes. He's done extremely well ... he can't expect much more surely. If someone goes home before him then that will be a shame as they've all produced higher quality dances than JR.
It doesn't always follow but it's his time to go now .. we're not really seeing any improvement from him and haven't in a while.

I think the DO might be Ore and Judge Rinder. There is something about Ore's head position that doesn't look right to my untrained eye. I can't put my finger on it but I think it might be because he sticks his jaw forward (something I am guilty of when I get annoyed )

Loathe, hate and detest the dance off anyway.
Loathe, hate and detest it even more at this stage.
Anyone of the ones left wouldn't be horrific as winners - why not just let it go to public vote and give everyone a fair crack of the whip (crack away).

Louise must know every square centimeter of that floor, she observes it very thoroughly .

The thing is that right up until last week, everyone had a chance. A chance to avoid the DO. A faint chance that if in the DO, they'd be saved. I don't feel JR has those chances... He'll probably be lowest on the board. The sums make it almost impossible for the public vote to save him (apparently... I can't work this out for myself!!) so he seems sure to go. Dead man dancing.

It's putting me on his side more than ordinarily. I don't want anyone particularly to replace him -- certainly neither of the other two beginners -- but a sporting chance would be good

I guess that Musicals week will have the same feel as the Semi-Finals week last year. And it's worth remembering that, although the Bottom 2 on the Leaderboard turned up in the Dance Off... it was Katie who left over Anita despite having a lower scoring dance (OK, just by a point).

I think the forum might have discussed that result... once or twice.

So... even if Judge Rinder is bottom of the leaderboard, can he be this year's Katie?

Judge Rinder could be this year's Mark Wright. Lousie could be this year's Pixie Lott.

What appalling comparisons. Mark Wright is one of the most insincere of public characters while Rob struggles to be in his feeling self. Pixie was fizzy, versatile and unafraid of any dance. Louise is a mouse by comparison.

I think they just meant that JR could be this year's Mark Wright and as such, avoid the QF dance off. Whilst Louise would be like Pixie in that she could have avoided the DO all series but end up in the QF dance off (and perhaps be eliminated).

I like mice, couldn't bear Pixie myself.

But what I noticed more than anything was that Kevin and Louise have a nice natural and friendly connection. Very easy together. And as hard as a watch him, for the life of me, I can't see this arrogance posters talk about. I've seen it in spades with a past popular pro but not Kevin.

I really enjoyed their interview this eve. They do have a good chemistry, and just seem to be loving the process without getting all effusive and unnecessary.
