And both those examples were particularly inappropriate - I was very surprised at both of them. The first time Jay placed his head down was beautiful, the second looked awkward because the dance had gone wrong by that point and they were improvising! The point in the dance where Karen talked about reaching with the arm would have been completely wrong if done that way - it was inappropriate there. Jay knows exactly how to extend his arms to the limit and is the best out of all of them at doing so. No - he has no issue about expressing himself through his body. The only problem is that they want more in the face than he is currently capable of. If they stop beating him over the head with it so that he becomes too self-conscious and forgets how to dance, it will come naturally in time.
