I hope Danny and Oti do reprise their Quickstep in the final - if they get there of course.

That is a good one but I'd rather see his Samba.

Goodnight everyone.

Me too . There's a good chance that they will and Danny said in their last interview that it's still his favorite dance so far.

I wonder if a lot of people would be disappointed though if they don't choose their samba as favorite dance.

For me, if they make the final, I'd rather they do the QS which they loved and can improve on rather than the samba which is already perfect. There's no room for improvement there but there is the chance for it to be not as good as it was. Whereas the QS was underrated first time around and it's clear Danny adored it.

I can see the QS being the judges' pick. Then maybe they will do that Samba as their favourite. Their showdance will be epic. I'm saying will be as I cannot even fathom them not being in the final.

Yes she did, she said she was fearless, supple and strong ('which is rare') and that she was very precise.

Clearly Darcey had been asked these questions in advance.

I think if it comes down to a dance-off, Darcey will pick Claudia because she was a gymnast herself, albeit a failed one

dont judges normally pick a dance they want them to improve? if so, then think it will be rumba, paso or cha

I thought that the judges would pick Danny & Oti's Foxtrot as their judges' pick, because there were some very obvious errors in the routine and the dance (without the mistakes) could have been a 10, according to Craig.

Darcey may encourage the other judges to pick their QS though, based on her comments tonight on ITT about regretting not giving it a 10.

Thank you I hope you are right.

I'm not so sure, since they'd have to do all that theming all over again, and I'm thinking the producers might nudge the judges away from picking that one, due to it possibly being a logistical nightmare to do that with all it's Halloween theming on top of everything else going on that night.

I quite agree. No-one would perform a perfectly scored dance again. It can't be improved and added pressure of the final would probably mean it not being as good as the first time. IF Danny & Oti make the final I expect the QS to make a second appearance Danny loves that dance and he learnt it the quickest out of all his dances.

I also loved Darcey's comments tonight about Danny...and about time to is what I say!

Rob and Oksana were lovely on ITT tonight. I thought it was very sweet how emotional Oksana got - I really do think all of Judge Rinder's proclamations about his "wonderful teacher" were completely genuine and she was touched by how seriously he took learning to dance. I will sorely miss him in the competition and hope he'll be back for a christmas special at some point in the future, and I hope Oksana will be back next year with another celeb.

She seems lovely, and beautiful with it. She must have thought she had drawn the new-comer's short straw with Judge Rinder (the producers probably thought they given her a Greg Wallace or Jimmy Tarbuck, too) but they gelled brilliantly.

I thought the Judge was one of the best things about this year's SCD but, boy, what a windbag.

Well said. I think it's one of the loveliest exit interviews there's ever been. They can come back for the Christmas special every year as far as I'm concerned!

One of the most genuine exit interviews I have seen. Both Rob and Oksana are lovely people.Isn't she beautiful too|?

It seems she does, doesn't it? Maybe she is on some kind of deal where the more they cry in front of her the more money she gets? I don't know, but she really pushes for tears which is very uncomfortable to listen to. If they cry let them, if they don't then Zoe saying just let it all out probably makes them feel self aware if they don't feel like crying at all.

What annoyed me slightly, but I kind of get it as they have a lot less celebs now in the show and ITT has been crammed with weak filler for weeks now, but over half the show just on Rinder and Oksana? I mean most of it was that LOONNGGG 'this is your Strictly journey' VT which went on forever. That's a little OTT when its so emotional, plus the other couples who left the show earlier get rushed off after 5 minutes tops on ITT. Now I know their 'journey' wasn't so long, but it still feels a little unfair. Do away with the filler and give all couples leaving the show equal time, that would be more balanced..

I think you just answered your own question there! They did 11 dances so the highlights clip was inevitably longer than say, Melvin or Lesley got.

I thought that too. If he'd had more time to train he'd have ironed out the faults, I'm sure

He is. In fact I warmed to him much more during this exit interview than during his others where he tended to go on and on about his "teacher" and the "classroom", and his gurning during the dances also put me off. I can now see what Oksana sees in him

That was my immediate thought! Maybe it's a special jumper which knocks a stone off you, in which case I must buy one.....

I've thought for weeks Zoe was losing weight & how good she looked but she's looking haggard & unwell now. I realise she must be feeling sad about the split with Norman but time to stop the diet Zoe, it's making you look old.
