Which is good.

If they have time to train a lot, they should.

Can the fish not learn if they don't want to get hooked, they can just swim in the other direction?
I have to say in my defense, that a couple of not really horrible remarks is hardly bait. And absolutely bugger all compared to what's said about other contestants. And my opinion.

But some Danny fans have the ultimately easy twist knickers.

I admit to a bit of mild teasing mind. the OTT reaction isn't up to me.

They are knew their schedules before agreeing to do the show.
Yes they did, it's a pity they don't restrict the training hours though, just to make it a bit fairer, I mean he was almost a professional at the beginning so he hardly needs 13 hrs to train every day.

No that would make it unfair on other participants. To put time limits on those who have the time would be horrifically unfair on those that want and can spend the hours training. It has always been thus.

4 x 11 hour days to learn the tango routine. Professionals picked it up in an hour.

😒

Yup - two years doing basic Jazz/Contemporary as part of a Musical Theater Course and then repeating the same routine every night for 21 months. Professional dancer right there!

I think it makes them look desperate to win.

Agreed.

I'm sure that the celebrities agree to do the show very early on in the year so can change their schedules if possible. I read that Danny drop out of Legally Blonde to do the show.

Celebrities can't do a full series of the show twice, so they might as well take the opportunity to do as well as possible.

I'm sure if all the other contestants with other commitments had the time Danny has they would put in just as much effort. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Exactly.

Some people take longer to learn things, should they be penalised by having to compete vs quick learners on the same time constraints?

Yeah, um, there will have been ballet and tap too as core subjects.

And do you really think one of the UK's top institutions, where one of Strictly's judges went would make students do the same routine over and over for a whole year?

I'm not sure how someone being willing to work hard makes them desperate. If Danny wasn't training hard, people would criticise him for being lazy and cocky.

Maybe it should stay there in blissful ignorance

I think it makes them want to do their very best as anyone would. Maybe then Claudia should be told, uhuh no gymnastics girl, it gives you and advantage and makes you look desperate to win?

You have joined his theatre training with the separate period when he was understudy.

I was referring to his time in Wicked.

I think the poster was talking about his West End experience.

Well no, apparently not! Fact is both Claudia and AJ have stressed at least two times how fiercely competitive they both are. Imagine if a Clifton said that on TV?! Or Danny for that matter?

I wonder if the wily old pike looks on the challenge of occasionally getting caught as a bit of a holiday? After all, they get thrown back most of the time.

My bad!

Edit - still certainly unswayed by the implication that this doesn't make you an advanced and competent dancer, though.

No, Claudia would have given up her gymnastic training if she was desperate to win.

I am not a lover of Ian Waite and thought tonight he seemed very pro Ore in his round up.

Maybe just me?
