I have to say in my defense, that a couple of not really horrible remarks is hardly bait. And absolutely bugger all compared to what's said about other contestants. And my opinion.

Yes they did, it's a pity they don't restrict the training hours though, just to make it a bit fairer, I mean he was almost a professional at the beginning so he hardly needs 13 hrs to train every day.

No that would make it unfair on other participants. To put time limits on those who have the time would be horrifically unfair on those that want and can spend the hours training. It has always been thus.

Yup - two years doing basic Jazz/Contemporary as part of a Musical Theater Course and then repeating the same routine every night for 21 months. Professional dancer right there!

I'm sure that the celebrities agree to do the show very early on in the year so can change their schedules if possible. I read that Danny drop out of Legally Blonde to do the show.

Some people take longer to learn things, should they be penalised by having to compete vs quick learners on the same time constraints?

I'm not sure how someone being willing to work hard makes them desperate. If Danny wasn't training hard, people would criticise him for being lazy and cocky.
