oh didnt realise had not put his surname Gary Edwards from Essex but divides his time between Miami and here - international and world class judge (think there are newspaper articles linking him) people often say he is like young Len Goodman (same accent) has worked with DWTS

.. and then Jay McGuiness gives them something understated .. and they want bells and whistles!

Because the final would then have had to be on the 10th and there'd have been a hole in the crucial Christmas tv scheduling on the 17th.

"Could" be

"Won't be"

The idea of someone popping in just to offer an opinion on the dance-off is bizarre.

Claudia's QS versus Ore's. Ore's was just running and skipping about, some of the time clinging on and not looking all that elegant or in control of it. Claudia kept the pace up every bit as much in fact she flew about but it was more controlled and much, much, more like dancing and not just jogging about.
If I were the judges and watched that back, I'd be embarrassed at how wrong I'd got it.
Go out on a high though, that's the main thing with people thinking you should have stayed.

I hope you were all wowed by the best Argentine Tango that this years Strictly has seen (you'll need a good memory though because all of the candidates in the running for this title danced it weeks ago! )

I agree that Claudia's QS was very good. But so was Ore's, completely different.

I do think that she should have ousted Danny in that Dance off. His offereing was so cliched and dull - the dance bits simple and littered with odd lifts.

But hey. He's the judge's pet, what can you expect?

Don't you get the feeling that Claudia wasn't fibbing when she said on 'This Morning ' how being on Strictly was like being released from a box where she's been for 12 years ? She was enjoying the experience so much - learning the dances, making new friends, the pretty dresses etc. She was clearly missing being in training today so much, taking a bit of time to collect herself as she spoke this evening. It must have been like she was a bird escaping her cage for 3 months - I do hope she can settle back to what she was doing without feeling the blues too much, though I expect everyone wonders what's hit them when it's all over !

I feel it was a wonderful experience for her. Formative even. She's had to test herself completely differently and has grown and blossommed as a result.

I once saw a programme where the take someone who has SOMETHING to do with the thing learned, having to convince a panel that they were experts at something.

There was a young classical cellist, who learned all about pop music and found herself as a DJ. Although she was musical it was completely different. She was terrific, she LOVED listening to it and putting the music together and she fooled the LOT of them.

And blossommed like crazy - turned into an interesting, lovely, confident young woman.

Claudia reminds me of her.

Sorry to go on

Not necessarily, they could have cancelled the elimination.

I didnt see This Morning but on ITT she seemed to be saying the same . I understood her to be saying that gymnastics filled her life and Strictly opened her eyes that there is more to life than a very structured path
