I quote you: "No, I think the point was that maybe it's not the party line at all. "

That's what the hell it has to do with what you think.

Of course not. How could she? That would be far too contentious. Mind you, to be fair, she never criticises marks given.

Posturing while pro partner minces around. Did she mention that? Don't think so. Enthusiastic praise? Of course.

I would like to know what Karen Hardy thought about Claudia's dances. I know they don't review the dances of the couple but who have left but I wonder what she would have said about her quickstep.

Yes, it's Karen's Khoreography Korner, not the Digital Spy Cliftonbash Thunderdome. Would you expect her to describe anything as "posturing whilst pro partner minces about" based on the tone on literally every iteration of the segment to air ever? It's mostly positivity with small critiques here and there.

I'm afraid it would have been bland. Nothing contentious. KH is a rather irritating waste of space. I do hope she's not on the judging panel next year.

(Not that I have any alternative in mind.)

I really hope she isn't either. I wonder if they are going to see how she is on the tour.

I really enjoyed the winners' panel tonight. Nice to see them again and hear their opinions.

I'm thinking they can't be seen to endorse someone with previous experience - the producers are cock-a-hoop that an absolute beginner is in the final.

Darren already said there were much better dancers in his series but he won so wanting Danny to win was not an option - he had to go with the 'journey' contestant or the 'plateaued', lovely person and make out she'd had a journey.

Jill had to go with the lovely person (woman) because it is the BBC line.

Tom apparently relates to Ore, although I didn't quite get why

It must have been tough on Danny to hear no one support him.

Or considering Louise's clear popularity it isn't at all surprising that in a panel of 3 people 2 would genuinely want her to win. And Tom will clearly like Ore who similarly excels in the ballroom/swing style.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much actual burn she managed to slot in for everyone

I could be wrong but I think Tom might see Ore as Gene Kelly to his Fred Astaire.

I'm behind this week ad only just had the chance to see Claudia & AJ's best bits.
Stunning. That is really, surely the ethos & heart of Strictly.
She's worked enormously hard and it really shows.
Well done Claudia, you're my champion.

I really missed reading this thread live. I don't usually catch up with the show until much later and then I think 'oh yeah so and so was right about that' etc.

I've enjoyed all the slebs on ITT. Nice bunch of people.

Darren wanted Jay for the win last year, so I'm not really sure that reasoning holds good.
