Think it was meant like when something is so cute you want to squeeze it to death, cute aggression as they call it

Loved Jamelia tonight. It needed to be called out, hey need to tread carefully now orbit could be the downfall of the show like it had for many others.

What a great ITT!

Congrats to Jamelia and Tristan for not giving a rats a*s about anyone else and just telling it how it is. I now have massive respect for Tristan as it might not be easy to be him around SCD for a while after those remarks.

At least the 'conspiracy theory' about the reshoot of Peters SO has been cleared up once and for all. Now we know for sure they reshot it so nowhere for the Peter fans to hide from that one now. Plus didn't Tristan say he knew before the weekend they were out? That they had a choice of sitting and doing nothing or practising for a great finishing dance?

Karen's moment of sternness felt like the SCD producers were just thumbing their noses at the audience because they KNOW we all thought she might say something about the whole Sunday DO debacle, instead they wasted five minutes with Zoe's birthday and got through the show without any more bumps in the road.

Was hoping Tristan would drop in the odd barbed comment but I did NOT see that coming!

All hail Queen Jamelia - called out the bullshit.

yeah but they say exactly that. its a figure of speech with no real 'bite' to it at all...

they don't say that they could cut him up, put him in a bag and kick him... that generate a rather visceral picture that does have real bite. of course its a joke, but its a 12 year old dorky schoolboy joke....

Exactly, or "I could eat you up with a spoon", I've often said it to babies (I know ) - Jay was just saying that, but in a far more eloquent and slightly random way. I loved it.

Bloody HELL! Has no one got a sense of humour!?
Humour isn't normative. It's often transgressive. His joke is weeeeeird.*

*Or 'normal' if mutilation is your bag, to use the correct word here. Hey, I aim for inclusivity

I'm joining the merry 'Tristan is a legend" brigade!! Love his ITT appearances, hope he returns to the show for other bits and pieces.

I'm expecting Karen to be quite honest tomorrow and think she would always insist upon giving her true opinion. She pulled the judges up on under-marking Georgia at the start and Anita more recently. She may be diplomatic in how she approaches it, but I don't think there's a chance she'd defend/praise Peter's jive.

Maybe we'll see more Tris now that he's out the competition... Silver lining

That could have been more they knew they were going to be in the dance off and since the only people who are left are ones that are generally better than them (I never thought Peter's jive would be that bad) they probably knew themselves their time was up (at least that's how he can explain that comment). However, after that ovation revelation, who knows?

Well then it looks like a 12 year old dorky schoolboy is going to win Strictly this year.

Did anyone else catch Tristan's aside to Jamelia when she said:

"I lasted NINE weeks. I did NINE different dances!!"

Tristan: "Eighteen times"

I totally missed the Jay baby words mentioned here as I was still in awe at Tristan and Jamelia's amazing interview. Best ever exit interview, grinning all the way through! She would have known (I haven't read the spoiler post by the mole) as they wouldn't have recorded a standing ovation for anyone else in the show (unlikely at least) and then to suddenly rerecord for someone in the dance off, why would they do that!?

Would have been pretty obvious at the time something was up I would have thought to anyone there, especially Tristan and Jamelia. I missed the spoiler thread as I was trying to be strong and watch without knowing, so that's the first I've heard of it, so dodgy! Well done those two for mentioning it, and Tristan for not seeming to care what he said tonight...
"I thought I wouldn't have to dance"! When asked to do his favourite step sequence!

It is a bit weird to mention body bagging a child. Just a dark sense of humour and a slight slip up of such IMO.

I hope Tristan's back next year with somebody a bit more popular than either of his two celebs to date, but I think he probably won't be...

Awwww I laughed so much and became all emotional at the end of Tris and Jam's interview . What a wonderful partnership.

Great interview as well with Jay and Aliona

Are people seriously criticising what Jay said? Wow... Give the man a break. It was clearly meant to be funny.

Well done Jamelia! She let the cat out of the bag - she went off-script much to Tristan's amusement - good on you Jamelia. Tristan knew they were going a week ago and certainly just prior to the dance-off.

I thought Jamelia slipped in the re-recorded standing ovation in quotes insider information quite beautifully. So astonishingly we have the actual proof - the BBC really did fake Andre's standing ovation. What an absolute disgrace.

You have to catch these gems of serious information from the usual forced merriment of ITT. The BBC are mis-leading viewers, wasting their money and rigging the results.

Also, Tristan makes me so proud to be Irish. He's so funny 😂
