Well, people had already cast their votes by the time we all learnt about the pig. Although all the rest of what he did should have put us off no?

I can't believe people voted for the pig-****-er even before we were told his way of applying apple sauce.

I thought the same. He had been coached within an inch of his life. He swerved every opportunity to talk about the controversy.

When he said Jamelia shouldn't have been in the dance off I thought, well if she hadn't been there, then you would have been a gonna.

Yes he was a bit pathetic - but then what could he say really..??

Most seem to say he is a weirdo, it's not the amount of comments, but more the nearly 3000 up arrows of him being a psycho.

We'll see, but I just wouldn't be surprised now and I really do not think he will be in the running to win now, mostly because these little things stick. If he isn't top, I half expect him in that dance off.

I also have a feeling he will mess up his dance, his head goes at the suggestion of any pressure, this seems to be quite a bit of pressure this week.

This stupid thing he said on ITT last night is making headlines and reading the comments people feel pretty sick over it. I think this will have lost him a lot of votes.”

Oh dear, I do hope not. It was a really, really dumb thing to say but it was just foot in mouth disease, not malicious. The mother of the kid concerned saw the funny side.

Will not make any difference....those who do not like Jay are desperate for him look bad.

Pretty sure you don't have to worry about that at all... In fact given the usual bandwagon jumping I suspect most negative comments are from people who a) never watch ITT and b) probably don't even watch SCD

I'm the same - I thought he was top week one and with his Charleston. Which other week was he top?

He'll be OK. If he'd said it straight after the Jamie Bulger killing, if anyone remembers that, it would have been disastrous for him, but I suspect he has an unstoppable wave of support and the comment won't have any discernible impact.

He meant it as a joke, weird as it was

He's counting the combined leaderboard of week 2. So Wk 1, Wk2 combined, and Wk 7 (Charleston) counting as 3. He also said that Len gave him the first 10 of the series, which isn't true either (and eeven if he meant his own first 10 that of course came from Darcey).

Then again the show itself is never very good at getting these things right either...

That was a tough one for Peter there, to say Jamelia danced better and should not have been in the DO, but not to go near the fact that despite her dancing better she still went home. And as people here have already commented, if she shouldn't have been in the bottom two, then who should of been, Peter?

And really, a top five of Peter jokes? Are they TRYING to lose him votes for next week?! BTW did anyone else notice Pete doing his Jive from Saturday at the start of tonight's show in front of the jukebox

Karen on Peter's Jive: 'I'm going to be honest, I was a little bit lost with the performance in general' ... welcome to the club Karen

Yes, it looked like most people hadn't watched the show, they just saw it written down and described as a 'rant' by the Daily Mail and made a judgement. I shouldn't think many of them are SCD voters. The fact that the DM leapt at the chance to make a story about this makes it seem even odder that they have completely ignored the other story from last night's ITT

I took him to mean the first time Len had given a 10 this year, and that he slightly misspoke because you know, that can happen occasionally on ITT.

No, not at all. The one involves taking on the mighty BBC, with the implications of fixing, the other involves a juicy soundbite from a young man having a brainfart. Guess which one's the easier target?

The Daily Mail has a long history of opposition to the BBC
