What a borefest tonight after yesterday's entertainment. I liked though that Karen noticed the same thing I did, the bouncy Blackpool floor with all those dancers dancing in sync, I loved that moment in Kellie's QS.

So much warmth and love for Peter! Wow. That one person on a Saturday night light entertainment show can raise so much bile and negativity.....What happens when you REALLY get upset by real life events and people?!

I think Peter handled tonight's show well. What is he supposed to say, for heaven's sake? Jamelia suddenly seems to have so many fans - pity they didn't vote for her before. Then she wouldn't have kept being in the bottom two. She now knows the way to win DS fans...drop a few negative hints about "fixing" Peter's DO or whatever is relevant at the time, as long as it is against the devilspawn, Peter Andre.

I felt so sorry for Jay - this is a guy who is out of his comfort zone and having to TALK to the cameras before millions and try to be entertaining, so his mouth runs away with him. My son would have done the same!

They have to be careful, given gameshow history. Implications of fixing can skirt around libel. Still, I imagine that they could manage it if they wanted to.

In fairness to Peter and Janette, I suspect that the producers decided not to allow any questions about whether or not Jamilia and Tristan had been fairly eliminated and unlike Jamelia who had nothing to lose in speaking openly Peter and Janette have to tow the party line ...

for the time being

That's why we appreciate you so much

Totally agree with this.

Well, when someone is quite so detestable, it's nigh on impossible not to detest them

Me too Kellie's won me round this last week or so. Loved that QS.

Well they were happy enough to print Ola's fixing allegations the other day, but now there is a specific incident involving Peter they've suddenly become scared of the BBC

@Coronis

A few of us are interested in the post you quoted on the Jay thread; it was about Emma, Matt and Mark. It was very very funny and I, may I even speak as the we, would love sight of it again. Ta muchly.

Only if you discuss some of the furniture that decorates the forum. If you catch my drift. Pity that your witty quote re Measure for Measure got deleted.

But why is he detestable? Do you know him personally? Why do you hate someone on a television show who you don't know? As someone else said - did he drown kittens or something? What dreadful crime has he committed that warrants such a strong reaction?

I'm baffled by the bile to be honest and I'm not a fan of any of them, just a happy viewer who loves the show

"The best Paso ever seen on Strictly!"

Yes Karen and it deserved 40!

(You watch the judges overscore Georgia's attempt at the weekend)

Finally a reasonable voice! Agree with everything. The Appreciation thread is getting filled up with people ready to turn a blind eye at obvious facts and in the same time ready to make up fantasy storylines and projected hate between contestants. So much hate, it's puzzling.

Well I am at the point of anyone but Peter to win . I will even go so far as to cope with a Kellie and Kevin win if it means Peter doesnt
One of the most insincere , rehearsed people on Strictly
And his dancing is sh!te . He danced them all like he had lead soled Doc Martins on

Tuesday: A short film of Emma visiting sick children in hospital.

Matt on the sofa with more chat about his journey.

A short discussion with the judges about the rumours that Mark eats babies. Plus a clip of Mark swearing at Karen.

Wednesday: Emma feeding starving children in Ethiopia.

Matt visiting an orphanage and teaching the children to dance and play rugby. More discussions about his 'journey'.

A short film proving that Mark was responsible for the war in Iraq. Plus a clip of him swearing at Karen.

Thursday: Emma injures her foot in training. Interview with her in hospital. Promises to wow everyone on Saturday come what may. Shots of her X Rays.

More discussions on Matt's journey (yawn).

Discussion on rumours that Mark has slept with every woman in Britain. Plus a clip of him swearing at Karen.

Friday: Emma has made a miraculous recovery. A film of her plaster cast being removed and the doctor saying what a fantastic patient she has been. No Matt today - he's gone on another journey.

I think Peter has respectable qualities that some people just don't want to see or recognise. To talk in the public space and to be able to avoid controversies for years is a quality I respect.

Maybe they're just sharpening their knives? Have to say, I was surprised more papers didn't pick up on the Jamelia thing. I'll never forget her referring to Peter's airquotes ovation! And Tristan in absolute hysterics, clearly finding it hilarious she'd spoken up but unable to join in without jeopardizing his own career. But yes, there is a difference between the specific and the general when you make allegations.

I don't let myself think like anymore, here's my list of "as long as they don't win I'm happy":

Darren Gough
Chris Hollins
Louis Smith
Abbey Clancey
Caroline Flack

So now I never even think it cos the one person I don't want to win will most likely be the champion!

I don't hate him. I loathe him and everything he represents as a talentless, narcissistic z-list celeb. I felt the same way about Mark Wright last year and it just galls me that SCD now features these vacuous non-entities on a prime-time Saturday night show. Is that enough info for you?
