It's strange how the Strictly contestants are so huggy and happy and supportive of each other, and often talk of what great friends they all are and yet some of the viewers here are the opposite. Maybe dislike binds people together...? I loved a comment on a Jamelia thread, when it was said how she never listened to Tristan and being with her must be such misery for him and the next ITT interview with them confirmed the exact opposite. So their conjecture was completely wrong. There was so much criticism of Jamelia then - and now she's suddenly loved because of the DO comments.

Never mind, we'll be the lone viewers on DS who enjoy the show!

Rewarded? I know she's having to put up with someone people find annoying but the reality is she was paired with someone who was probably regarded as favourite at the start of the series. I'm not convinced the Pasha rule should apply and she gets given contenders until she wins

Presumably the have to judge the Dance Off by the performance of the night. But in reality it gives them right to chose the more promising contestant to go on. Maybe if both performances are somehow equal (which was not Peter's case.) Hence the controversy.

She celebrated her birthday with all the pros on a night out . Peter andre wasn't there , but somehow baby jay wormed his way in among the pros . He's not even janettes partner on the show .What a little crawler he is .

Sorry Amuluna I edited my post because I actaully put this in the wrong thread But to bring it back to ITT. The show does give us the insight of pros and others in the know but it's almost universally positive 'jiving their socks off in Blackpool' because it's really a puff piece for the main show. And that's fine, wher it does lack is where there is a major controversy like this and fans don't get a chance to see what other professionals really think, but I suppose that can't realistically change.

You do get a sense of what they thought in Jamelias Goodbye video though. where Giovanni and to be fair Jay and Kevin don't agree with the decision (IMO anyway) but just have to go along with it anyway.

I noticed when the result was given that Kevin looked very glum, and he has the same expression in that 'Goodbye Jamelia' video - loved his comment about how much Jamelia had improved and how to him that is what the show is about. I love their honesty and I think nearly all of them make it obvious that Jamelia's dance was brilliant.
