So that's why Picto was making all those cheese references earlier!! He should know I almost never bother looking in GD Yes, that would have been chins all right. He's probably flogging it down some dark alley right now

you're welcome. Btw limes were 3 for 49c, I bought loads, enough for nightly mojitos until 2016. I will leave this tray in the locked fridge for you to help yourselves.

Now you're asking, not sure, approx 100 cents to £1.30?? The limes were on offer
I'm working on the basis that if they are doing you so much good, can't do the rest of us any harm!

That just goes to show that when we have a craving its the body telling us we need something. Is there any cake?

Oh lovely. I wonder what it will cure.

I have just been watching Hugh Thingy Whatsit's programme about waste on i player. I think it might take the rest of the weekend to pick my jaw up off the ground. So shocking in almost every detail.

KFC throwing away 100,000 kilos of cooked chicken away. A woman who doesn't know that slightly sad looking carrots, parsnips and tomatoes are called soup or cassarole. Supermarkets being uber fussy about the shape of a parsnip and the colour of an apple. What is the matter with people?

THe world's gone mad!! Especially when folk are struggling to feed their families and having to go to food banks. I mostly shop in the local farm shops or from the table outside the local smallholding with its honesty box. I get all manner of shapes and sizes of veg but they taste fantastic!! Also when my kids were growing up we had two allotments so I am used to gnarly old veg. Supermarkets should just sell the funny shaped ones in large bags for cheaper. They'd soon go!

Ooo part lll for sillies. What happens to the old thread?

An - I think the same as you, the body craves what you need including cake and chocolate, of course. The craving I have just before I get an infection, usually throat, is onions. I know it's strange but I literally had onions on each meal for a couple of days before I actually googled to see if there was such a craving and not connected to pregnancy, and there was. Onions have a lot of benefits including infections, so my body was right and my glands went down with no antibiotics.

Mmm now for a slice of tk's yummy orange cake ... ta very much.

I made it. Whew!

It was very quiet in here last night that might explain why. I am sure my last post was made in part 2 though.

Anyway I used the time well. I baked you a cake which seems a fitting celebration of a part 3.

Ingredients very hard to come by by the way - Royal icing of course.
