That just goes to show that when we have a craving its the body telling us we need something. Is there any cake?

Made a small amazing orange cake, enjoy!
![]() I have just been watching Hugh Thingy Whatsit's programme about waste on i player. I think it might take the rest of the weekend to pick my jaw up off the ground. So shocking in almost every detail. KFC throwing away 100,000 kilos of cooked chicken away. A woman who doesn't know that slightly sad looking carrots, parsnips and tomatoes are called soup or cassarole. Supermarkets being uber fussy about the shape of a parsnip and the colour of an apple. What is the matter with people?

Ooo part lll for sillies. What happens to the old thread?
An - I think the same as you, the body craves what you need including cake and chocolate, of course. The craving I have just before I get an infection, usually throat, is onions. I know it's strange but I literally had onions on each meal for a couple of days before I actually googled to see if there was such a craving and not connected to pregnancy, and there was. Onions have a lot of benefits including infections, so my body was right and my glands went down with no antibiotics.Mmm now for a slice of tk's yummy orange cake ... ta very much.

I made it.
Whew!It was very quiet in here last night that might explain why. I am sure my last post was made in part 2 though. Anyway I used the time well. I baked you a cake which seems a fitting celebration of a part 3. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CTMsQGoXAAAh4D8.jpg Ingredients very hard to come by by the way - Royal icing of course. |
