Morning all
.Happy Birthday tk hope you get spoilt and enjoy the rest too. ![]() Hope everyone is ok and Moose's move is going well too. No snow my end as yet just very cold. I see planets has some viking friends to play with .. whilst I loved the pic of Rollo .. before Scarlet broke him that is .. I'm not into the bloodiness of it all. Maybe if they did a Mr Viking ala Miss World type show then I think I could get on board with that. Leaving hot cross buns .. yes already in the shops along with cream eggs .. butter and a flask of tea. ![]() I bought some hot crossed buns on Dec 23rd. It was my way of rejecting Christams tyranny. But it does beg the question; Why can you buy hot crossed buns pretty well all year round but once they have sold off stocks, mInce pies vanish soon after Christmas. Anyone watching War and Peace or is it too avant garde and contemporary for you guys? |

Would it make me a philistine to say not a lot. They seem to have knocked some of its stuffing out. It doesn't seem as meaty as the old one which I saw on DVD ( think it was made in the 70's and you need to set aside a whole weekend to watch it.

I am not sure you can have a poncy drink like G&T and claim to be a viking Planets. You need something you can quaff from a flagon and swing about when in your cups.

I loved the old series, and that was more Russian, but this has a grandeur that the old series lacked.
If no one's going to finish the rest of the pig................
