Hello all sorry for absence for last couple of days, was on funeral duties (v elderly 2nd cousin).

We are being battered by Abigail, orange alert for next 24 hours. tk jr was heading for Liverpool this am but the incoming flight couldn't land, and was diverted to Shannon. So I'm waiting to hear if the bus has made it down there and if so, will the flight go ahead.

No tablecloths here? Maybe all blown away. Moose, any sign of Dexter *lights candle*
I don't know how you do it tk .... it's never ending Condolences xxx

Hope tk jr makes his journey safely xx

Still no sign of Dexter. Been 5 days now. Can't believe we're going through this again already. It's brought back to the fore my own missing moglet and messed me right up this week. Hoping for a quicker and happier ending for Dexter.

Nor me. I'm a blood guts and gore kind of girl

I'm a very fussy film viewer

Eta ... having said that, The Notebook is one of my favourite films ever!

Erm, not in this climate. Think bundled up in multi layers, beards an optional extra

Quite possibly D

I was also called Mr T K in my professional life, by people who hadn't spoken to me!

No, if I'm going to watch a film it needs to be complete escapism.

Vikings is superb! Rollo was our thread slave until Scarlet and Moose broke him

I tried the Last Kingdom, i gave it two episodes and thought it was terrible.
A massacre was three extras lying in the mud.
The acting was terrible (apart form Rutger Hauer who got killed in the first episode)
and it appears to have been written and made by the team of 10 years olds that made that crap version of Robin Hood a few years ago....i was soooooooooo looking forward to it and it disappointed on every level.
Thank god for proper vikings

Exactly Moose, we were robbed. He came to me after planets had had him in her infirmary, and he chopped a few logs then ran away to negotiate a new contract. And I let him have full use of the mattress and the trolley.
