We was robbed! And I need them for winter quarters!
Meh. Chins'd only eat them too

Looking like a post new year move. Sister Moose is going away for it (not like her, I know ) so doesn't want to move her bunch of cats out to the sticks while they still have an on tap sitter ......

Just starting to sell redundant furniture and tackle the clearing out of Mother Moose's possessions

Condolences on your loss TK. I am a bit confused by TK juniors flight though. A plane scheduled for Liverpool is diverted to Shanon? How does that work exactly. normally they put the passengers on a coachback to the airport they are destined for. You can't do that from a different country. Well you can on mainland Eurpoe but Ireland is on a different bit of land. Do the airline know this?

You are having a tough week Moosey. Clearing your mum's things must be so hard. And also fretting about Dexter too. Feel for you.

Hello all sorry for absence for last couple of days, was on funeral duties (v elderly 2nd cousin).

We are being battered by Abigail, orange alert for next 24 hours. tk jr was heading for Liverpool this am but the incoming flight couldn't land, and was diverted to Shannon. So I'm waiting to hear if the bus has made it down there and if so, will the flight go ahead.

No tablecloths here? Maybe all blown away. Moose, any sign of Dexter *lights candle*
Sorry to hear you had to attend another funeral, it's always sad whether you were close or not as it brings your own losses back. Hope you are ok Glad jr arrived safe too. The weather has been pretty bad here too but not to the levels you're experiencing ... yet.

I had the tableith gingham flash for best part of yesterday .. every secnd key, lthen I couldn't post .. then after a delete of cookies etc and a restart I couldn't log in. ..so annoying. I did have something to read inbetween as planets had put a link up to the original sillieness thread and I got lost in there for quite a bit.

I don't envy you Moose, my Mum's things that I got to keep are all in a large suitcase on top of a wardrobe in my bedroom. At least once a week I tell myself to get it sorted and all the paperwork too .. but there it still is .. one day soon I will do it. Thinking of you Moose and hope it all goes ok with preparing for the move and mr dexter returns safe and sound too.

Eta as I mentioned above to tk's post I had a little read through the original sillies thread and this is how you chose your name ... you were sitting for an age trying to think of something clever (paraphasing here ) and as your hand went over the mouse you thought of that as a spin on Dangermouse with an o replacing the u .. wtte .

Planets - because she was doing a solar chart and head was full of planets.

An - forgot original name and came back to BB after a break and thought given the premise of the show and that you liked to people watch that it seemed apt at the time. .

Fink was from a charachter from the Jeeves books by Wodehouse.

So DS messing up gave me time for an interesting read.

I read that and thought WOW Cazzie has remembered all that. Then I realised you had done your research. Well done either way.

I wasn't part of the sillies thread back then, I'm not even here a year but obviously knew you all from BB, except Fink.

I had a read tbrough parts yesterday when DS was playing up and went from the beginning, then jumped to the end then back and so on. It really was an interesting read.

There was a conversation between yourself and Dave (the sensible) about his love of Pink Flloyd and you discovering new meanings/interpretation of lyrics. Then naming a song (sorry can't remember the name) and how it would be perfect for an Argentine Tango. Dave then replied with his vision of the AT taking place high on (moors/hill) with grey clouds and the female dancer wearing a red dress (Gone With The Wind came to my mind for some reason ). you then replied you need a flat smooth service for an AT lol.

Oh gosh I remember that conversation. I had a vision of catching ones foot in a rabbit hole while doing an lovely gliding AT step and going A over T and falling on one's face. Not the look one aims for in Argentine Tango.

Amongst the different posts about BB, books and plums (a fink and planet convo, quite a funny one too ), there was a very poignant conversation between you, Fink, and Muggins (there may have been others but I can't remember). It was about your travels across America and where you were when you heard the news of 9/11 and how it impacted those of you that were in the US at the time.

Now that conversation I don't remember (although obviously I still remember where i was on 9/11). But don't get Planets and Fink started on their plums. You will never shut them up!

not quite!! i had been commissioned to make the solar system as an art installation. I downloaded photographs of all the planets from Nasa and made 3d bejewelled versions (some planets i admit didn't get their full compliment of moons - Jupiter got 14 instead of 64 ) and i was about half way through the project, in the middle of jupiter, when i joined so it seemed like the obvious name.

I thought Planet was female. Well, you live and learn.
*clutches pearls* I am a lady! how could there be any doubt
