It makes one somewhat suspicious of the high mortality rate over there

I've not given up hope of planets' return Although she'd better have a bloody good note to explain her absence!!!

Tis the Spring Equinox or Ostara today. Rather a chilly, grey day for it but I am celebrating nevertheless. The first day of spring. Tata winter, shut the door on your way out

Oh yes so it is. I hadn't noticed, but you are right Ostara - cognate with our Easter and words for eggs such as ova, oeuf and huevo (the h is more or less silent)

ETA. Literally as I was typing this and the second, now deleted, paragraph, saying I hadn't heard from P and sadly we might have to forge ahead with invasion plans this summer without her. And Lo and Behold she popped up!

So she is alive and kicking _ I can confirm Yay!

I knew there had to be a very good reason for you abandoning ship halfway through Vikings! Tk and I have done the lot.....and now tk can see the next series cos it's on Irish telly!!! I'm insanely jealous.

That also explains your all pervading aroma of cod Welcome back!! *brings in more cake and chocolate biskwits*

We've wittered on quite a bit about Vikings as poor An will confirm Moose is not long back from the wilderness as well.

The very thought of no internet or cake for weeks is enough to make my blood run cold As is the thought of season 5 with no Ragnar

I've sneaked a peek at Rollo with his Frankish hair. He looks a right twonk

Welcome back planets!!! You have been in the wars, probably won't ever want to see another fish again.

Yes I am privileged to get series 4 first, mustn't say anything or won't be able to avoid spoiling! And yes 5 is going ahead, with Jonathan R M.

Now put your feet up and have a small medicinal hot whiskey *wraps furry cloak round planets*

Same here tk, I've always been interested in them and their culture. Which is why it is so fabulous seeing that brought to life on the screen!!

Just a tad! I had to satisfy myself with analysing the fauxmance of the decade. But in some good company.
