Evening all, thanks for salt advice, don't worry, it has been used since day one. I'm sure there's no infection, just can't get used to the rather large hole!
Had to buy a new cooker today; take out old one (approx 35 years old) load onto trailer, off to town, old one into recycling, new one onto trailer, home and connect up. Now to read instructions!
Have a lovely visit with mini twass, and Moose I hope you are doing something nice

Trundles in with veg soup, strawberry jelly and ice cream. Not having a good time with holey gum and horrible cold.

Wraps self in furry cloak and hopes to wake up cured! x
Is that the tooth you had taken out at the beginning of the month TK? Hasn't it closed over yet?

Yes An, think the trouble is the already missing wisdom tooth next door has taken over all the room, as I say no infection, it's just going to take time

Finally got round to catching up on episode 2 of Vikings S 4. At least two of you are going to be jealous!

Planets, hope your meds are successful. Mind yourself.

Happy Easter all, and don't forget your clocks

Oooo they look really appetising. I don't mind if I do.

I have a Greek almond and orange cake here to add to the safe. Nothing to do with Easter but my neighbour gave me the recipe after I had had a slice of hers and gone delerious with the pleasure of it. I have only just got around to trying it. I think lemon is more the Greek style at Easter.

Adds amazing orange cake to safe. No almonds in it (copies Moose's pah! pah!)

Hope everyone had a good day, and not too much chocolate

Yum. Don't mind if I do. I am waiting for the first crop of rhubarb to make a rhubarb and sour cream tea loaf. Recipe from one of those supermarket magazines.

Glad you have stopped up chucking.

Oh dear I'd thought this was just a bug, but maybe it's part of the ongoing saga of illness?

That sounds divine!! I got some forced rhubarb from the farm shop, took my eyes off the prize and burnt the lot. Made a right mess of my saucepan

Oh dear. I used to use rhubarb leaves to clean my old saucepans. They were metal ones and the acid or somethigng in rhubarb used to bring them up a treat. It doesn't work for teflon though

Mine is cast iron Le Creuset, got in a charity shop! I've now got most of the marks off, I boiled sliced lemons with bicarb of soda in it at one point. That worked well

My mum has a crown in the garden and tells me the first crop is almost to the top of the old chimney pot she uses to keep it in the dark.
