It's bizarre to see the two opposite ends of the spectrum....the folks who've not opened the curtains in ten years, and only change their bed linen annually and the stripes bloke who cleans his entire home three times a day and has never ever used the oven

The golden delicious has no purpose that I can think of apart from possibly throwing in a fairground side show. Pink Lady are OK to eat as a plain fruit. Not my favourite but I don't mind them.I thought Bramleys were the only apple any sensible person ever cooked with, although I have used Granny's if I wan them to hold their shape in say a flan. Hello all, catching up. Planets you are in the wars aren't you? *rummages in salad drawers where the medicines are kept* I can offer mastitis tubes, fluke and worm doses or a lovely blue antibiotic spray? Hmm, maybe not.
So will rattle my rosary and rub my relic, and waft good vibes towards you. |

Oh I am sorry Twass! Should look at the clock before posting.
Now, how to distract you? Rollo's hair, what got me was how shiny and bouncy it was, very 'I'm worth it', it made me roar. Also agree with you lot, Bramley's are the only cooking apple. Making some pies tomorrow if anyone is interested? |

Apple pie would do nicely while we wait for the rhubarb to finish growing. BTW I was using relic just as a euphemism with no age connotations. It just sounded liek a good substitute word for somethign else.
