My woods have erupted with bluebells and anemones! They are glorious....even in the rain!!
i'm so jealous! we are just moving into daffodils!!! have you got any photos? i LOVE carpets of bluebells i can't walk far enough to the ones near here...

For the first part they might have thought you were singing "I'm sucking a lemon" but the second part....well not much sounds like Affleck

i'm so jealous! we are just moving into daffodils!!! have you got any photos? i LOVE carpets of bluebells i can't walk far enough to the ones near here...

awh!! thanks Twass absolutely gorgeous! They look like proper english bluebells too not the spanish imports! Is the white flower stitchwort? i can't see from here!

awh!! thanks Twass absolutely gorgeous! They look like proper english bluebells too not the spanish imports! Is the white flower stitchwort? i can't see from here!
Starwort it is to be sure. It goes by many names. Always precedes the bluebells by a few days, and yes these are the British ones, smaller and more slender than the imports. In another week the whole forest floor will be blue! I shall be up there every day

My favies! My smallest granddaughter had the last one in Lidl on Monday while her poor Nanna sat there drooling. The eldest had a chocolate cookie but I was only jealous of the wee one.

ah! it's stitchwort up here!!! i love it it's one of my favourite verge flowers! All over the verges! so pretty and delicate i managed to snag some shots of crocuses and snowdrops last week, i'd never managed to get what i considered a nice shot of a snow drop before but i think i got a nice one!!

It will likely be 2-3 weeks before the flowers oop norrrth in your regions catch up with my Kentish blooms!

Ah it must have been you that got me on to them Twass, i couldn't remember if it was you or tk. I'm also very partial to their pecan maple pastry thingy it's delicious.

Yes the snowdrops are just fading and if you go down into the dales the daffs are starting but not up here on the tops just yet!

it's reeeeet cold round ere

weirdly in my garden (mostly dead garden) a wall flower has been in flower since christmas they're not normally out till June!!!

weirdly in my garden (mostly dead garden) a wall flower has been in flower since christmas they're not normally out till June!!!
First wallflowers were blooming here two weeks ago. All sorts are coming up, the blossom on the creeper covering my cottage will be out soon. May was out in the lane!! Everything is a bit early here due to the mild winter.

I'm trying to think of the name of where i used to like going in Kent when i lived in saaaf london....let me check a map and get back to you.....wait Lullingstone? Roman villa and there's a viaduct and a castle very pretty round there!

That's over the other side of Kent from me, I am in the far east of it. Three oast houses here at the end of my garden!!
