Evening all! First day of TB test done, now to repeat on Saturday, when the vet reurns to do the reading (checking no lumps have come up). The weather was foul, roaring North wind and hailstones, snow on the hills again.

What beautiful photos! Very spring-y!

BIB we are kindred spirits in that tk. I used to watch and participate in the thread for Masterchef then i stopped a while back (probably during a hospital stay) i was turning into the grumpiest bugger on the thread i became extremely er enthusiastic about finding terrible reviews of his restaurants that said exactly the same thing about his food as he was complaining about to the contestants. If he complained about someone being 2 minutes late i found a review saying they waited over an hour

Every time he stuffed an entire dessert in his gob accompanied by sex noises i self harmed

This pink pork fashion is absolute nonsense. As you say it'll be chicken sushi next

Tee hee! But seriously, does food hygiene not matter these days? Glad the turkey broth went ok. But like An, knew it was perfectly OK.

I was taught in my biology class it was essential to cook pork properly because of parasites such as tapeworm etc. Scared the crap out of me :

I got paranoid as every frozen poultry product i checked in the supermarket (for guidance) said eat within a month!! I've got another box of broth left it was delicious - perfect foe when you are poorly isn't it?

Good ole Nuns! They knew their stuff. If you have made (or know the provenance of the broth, ) then of course it's fine

IMHO, exactly. Pork must be cooked completely. A month for frozen poultry, dunno. But then I've spent all day in frozen hailstones making sure our cattle are healthy.
Off to bed now
