They don't seem to have to have the oomph, and get up and go needed to really keep pushing themselves out there. Just sit around waiting for miracles to happen

One of the fosterers keeps all the moggies that come in to her care. Mind you, I'd probably be just the same

Yes, ours tend to get attached to the moggies, you can hardly blame them though. I instantly wanted ALL the cats at the show despite living in a rented cottage and not allowed pets One day I shall be a little old woman under a mountain of cats

DIL being only 30 has more than enough oomph. She injects the rest of us with it when we flag due to being old and crushed by the burdens of life!!

Haha. I'm half way there.

I did have one attempt at fostering almost 2 years ago. Needless to say the little bugger's still here
I guess you have to possess untold strength and emotional detachment - none of which I have.

Aww it's a shame you can't have any where you live Got so lucky with my landlord.

My landlord is the farmer, and he raises Pheasant chicks in the barn not 50 yards from my door, so cats is verboten. I could really do with one, as the meeces move in to my place in winter. Mind you knowing my luck I'd get a cat who'd refuse to catch them

One of my pals is the kitten lady. She's raised umpteen motherless kits and somehow manages to let them go at 8 weeks. She's usually got a litter on the go in her conservatory

Maybe it's because they are very young kittens with no clothes on
