Well done you couldn't risk keeping the infection all to yourself
that would have been selfish

I guess it would. She will be back at the weekend and it should be in full flow by then so I can be nursey.

I shall be off to see to my son's doglets shortly as he and DIL are off for a few days to the Midlands. I'll be sleeping with them both. Bragg is good and just curls up by my feet but Eddy, the neurotic one [the rescue] will cling to me all night and his nose will be 2cm away from mine

I just heard from son and DIL in Birmingham, it's snowing there too

The dogs are peacefully sleeping now I've eaten my toast. They watched every morsel being consumed while drooling. It certainly isn't warm even this far south!!

Eek, never been there, but thought if An was around she might enjoy it. Hard to enjoy anything today with the inquest results.

I keep hearing my name coming from this direction. I am bogged down proofing and editing a document about Aeronautic vortexes in unmanned air craft. I haven't a blessed clue what I am reading.

I thought cape verde was a condiment or sauce.

After the abomination that was Shakespeare Live! has anyone been watching The Hollow Crown? Tom Hiddleston has been great as Prince Hal thoroughly enjoyed him, was most unexpected.

I've not seen the Hollow Crown but been watching the Henry VIII series.

Dogs kept me warm last night, just waiting for them to be picked up by doggy daycare. They are both in their collars and harnesses all ready, trembling with excitement

It's chilly here, but we've had no snow or hail at least.

Hope all went well at the doc's planets! Now I am waiting for the doglets to be delivered home

it started with hail as i left home by the time i got to the docs 13 miles away couldn't see much beyond the end of the bonnet (some idiots that have the light activated headlights hadn't turned their headlights on it was bright because of the reflection off the snow but the blizzard was so heavy it was effectively like driving through super thick fog with no visibility!

Had some tests last week and i'm "dangerously low" on a million things so the doctor was really tense and my infection markers are still somewhat high (should be between 5 and 9, mine are 103 )

Have the wee doggies been at school?

They went to doggy daycare, my son and DIL treated them as they are away without them. They can't go to DIL's parents as they have an elderly and very other dog hating dog. Easier to leave them here. It's a fab daycare, they get two walks, indoor and outdoor structured play, quiet time, lots of attention.

They wolfed their dinners and are now spark out

I hope they manage to get all your levels into normality! Since yesterday I have got double conjunctivitis, probably from all the coughing and sneezing, must have got backdraught into the eyes

Can we book some doggie daycare for the thread members?!
we need structured play and attention tooooooo

I haven't been normal for years at my worst i broke surgery records when my infection markers were 343 *punches air does imaginary lap of honour*

oh no sore eyes . Do you know if it's a bacterial infection? If it is (rather than an allergy or irritant based conjunctivitis) you can get Chloramphenicol drops from the pharmacist without a prescription to clear up the infection. Are you eyes all ?

I got those drops this morning from the pharmacist in the local village chemist. He seems to think it will be sorted in a few days. I went to bed with as I thought, normal eyes and woke up to GUNK! It will be cos of the cold I've had this last week.

Well, despite all odds you are still here and well enough to garden and eat chinese takeaways!!

Yes, I would be happy to go to doggy daycare I must say. Pampered little pooches they are.
