In the words of the late great Prince "sometimes it snows all summer....."

haven't been to sleep for a few days everything's getting unusual
I know one doesn't make a summer, but somehow when he appears the corner has been turned.

Not at ALL? how does that work? I'm fried if I don't get a decent six hours in, Nothing functions!

This may sound weird but if you have an organic banana, cut both ends off and simmer it in water for ten mins, drink the water and eat as much of the banana AND ITS PEEL as you can. Apparently it helps sleep being full of magnesium and potassium which helps you relax.
I've heard that too. Am a big fan of bananas anyway, also turkey and lettuce sandwiches, full of tryptophan (?). But no matter what, some nights I just don't sleep

May be hereditary, my dad had same problem. DM this week had the fascinating theory that your fish brain comes into play when you can't sleep in a night away in a strange place. Hmm, yes, but in my OWN bed?

Mind yourself and mini, go smell the bluebells x

I just lurk. Would love to wander, but then would fall asleep. Actually, could be the lizard brain (are they so dissimilar?) Dad loved fishing x

I hope you ladies managed some kip. I feel bad saying I probably had the best night I've had in a week I still woke coughing a couple of times, but nowhere near so bad. I think mini twass may also have slept relatively well as I only heard her cough a bit.

Smelling the bluebells should be on prescription! That will certainly be happening.

I've set my phone alarm to remind me of the eyedrops now, cos my eyes are no longer reminding me themselves which is good. I have to use the drops til Monday morning.

We shall be lighting the fire shortly. It's Beltane for us, the fire festival of the coming of Summer, this weekend. We made a beautiful little altar with forest flowers, herbs, ivy etc.

It's safely in our tums. The orange sorbets are divine! I'm hoping to get another box of them before they all go....the scent of oranges as I opened the pack was heaven! And the sorbet lived up to that smell
