Hope you have a lovely time, let me know what you had so i can eat by proxy i foolishy bought loads of salad and fruit when we had ten minutes of sunshine instead of yummy things like crumpets and cream cheese....*looks sad, hopes chins steals the salad*

I'm home!! Had a lovely day, it's a gathering of people who mr tk worked with when he started work as an apprentice at age 15. We meet up a few times a year, sadly every year one or two are missing.

Started with chicken and mushroom vol-au-vents in a creamy sauce, with a bucket of crispy salad, and a glass of yummy sauvignon blanc. Then roast sirloin, roasties and Yorkshires. Mr tk had salmon in a cream and chive sauce, we both had mash, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Dessert was freshly baked deep dish apple pie with cream and ice cream, mr tk had lemon cheesecake. Then tea.

We ate watching a few hardy surfers brave the Atlantic. A good day.

That sounds delicious tk!!! I'd have had your main and mr tk's dessert

So glad you had a lovely time was worried you wouldn't be feeling well enough to enjoy it and taste the lovely food!
