That's lovely, i like to light candles on the anniversary of my dad's death too, i usually do one if i'm ever in a cathedral or some such (i find cathedrals astonishing, it's easy to see how people would be filled with awe and wonder)
Glad you had a nice day tk *sucks rock*

Well, unless she's decided that my cottage is not suitable for her housing requirements and swanned off to the big house up the hill, I guess so! Not seen her for about 48 hours though. And her reception then by us [shrieks and squeals] might possibly have put her off.

I can imagine her going back to her small and trembling husband and saying "BERT! Pack my things, it's far too noisy here to raise a pack of spiderlings. We're moving OUT!" And him saying " Yes dear, of course dear, please don't eat me"

Oh the honey smell of the bluebells, and the, er, garlic smell of the garlic. It looks so beautiful as well.

Oh jezza dumped her a couple of weeks ago, and she has gone full on. Unfortunately tweeting pics of her snogging an ex-reality guy (?) and partying hard. He is saying he will support her her (unfortunately he said he will do everything if she stops drinking and partying "if she is pregnant" which gives her more ammunition

i have a black bird in my garden which is singing Gilbert and Sullivan tunes
All morning it has been chirping the phrase from the Pirates of Penzance:
"In short, in matters vegetable, animal, and mineral,
I am the very model of a modern Major-General."
It's hard to distinguish the lyrics but the tune is spot on....

There's also one in my garden that knows the tune but not the lyrics.

It's a humming bird.

Afternoon all! I now have very blonde hair. I think my hairdresser may have left the stuff on a wee bit long, as he was so intent on telling me the joys of his love life Oh well. It's going to be easy to put the purple streaks in now, they never used to show much on the old colour

I even wrote to Jim'll Fix it asking for one of their wigs (lucky escape there as thankfully he never answered)

You can call me "a few shades darker than Marilyn but not many"

I love my coloured streaks. They wash out, but then I put 'em back. You're never too old for purple hair!

That's quite a long name

I had peroxide blonde hair when younger and put one of those "wash in wash out" colours (cerise pink) on. It didn't wash out I had shoulder length hair and it took me forever to grow it out.

Those colours don't look so good when partially washed out do they But hey ho. I'd rather look funky for a few days then shove all the hair into a bun while it sorts itself out!

I've been dragging out all the camping gear in readiness for festivalling next week for the Bank holiday weekend. Every year I wonder how on earth we will get it into my friend's car and every year we manage to shoehorn it all in somehow
