Funnily enough I just had a delivery of items I had ordered online from Holland & Barratt's penny sale, and a freebie in the box was a packet of Ricola herbal Mountain mints!! I am sucking thereof now. Most refreshing

I've managed to get as far as swapping PJ bottoms for tracky bottoms and have brushed my hair. Even that was efforts. Hopefully tomorrow normal service will resume

Sounds like a normal day for me

Hope you is feeling better soon. I am rubbish at being sick. One of the advantages of my long incarceration. I'm well paranoid going out and mingling with the germ riddled now. Worse is the sudden influx of sniffly nosed children in my family - I'll never make it through the winter alive

Children are the worst, although I fear I may have left my two granddaughters with this lurgy which I got from my other daughter earlier in the week Poor little blighters! I honestly haven't had a cold in about four/five years. Just been lucky I guess, I am on public transport with the sneezing hordes all the time.

I do the same Twass. My brother works in aeronautics and flies a lot. I am always anxious when he is in the air. I track him on flight 24 obsessively.

As for kids - germ factories every one of them. One of the detergent adverts (Persil maybe) gives very good advice at the end of the advert. It says "always keep away from children" I make every effort to do so.

Haha! Brilliant!

We did so well to not have any kids out of the four of us
My eldest brother has quite a large step family but we have never tended to mingle with all the offshoots there.
It was all going to plan until other brother and sister met new partners last year, complete with ready made young germ infested nippers who both unfortunately appear to adore me and are extremely huggy and hand holdy. It's a nightmare

Everybody should just have cats!

NO of course not. You are brown with a weird shaped head and antlers.

Whihc reminds me I met some of your cousins on Friday evening. Two rather terrified looking reindeer being paraded about as part of a Christmas light switch on. Beautiful animals but much smaller than I expected. I had always imagined reindeer to be a similar size to cows but actually only the size of ummmmm maybe a very large dog - Great Dane or similar.

Poor little things

I've not had the pleasure of meeting any of that side of the family.

I had the same surprise when I met some meerkats a few years back. Couldn't get over how tiny they were

Children should be avoided at all costs. Noisy, clingy, rude, over privileged, think the world revolves around them and full of snot and other germy things. I dearly love my grandchildren but they are so much better at a distance

Now I imagine a meerkat to be about knee height, so about 18" high.

Maybe stood up on their hinds but no .... so much smaller. No bigger than the average sized moggy.

Yes, they are weeny! My friend was given a meerkat experience as a birthday treat once, she got to go in their enclosure and feed them and sit with them. I was well jell, I had to watch from over the wall .....
