I don't think she knows how. But she has dissed a stunningly beautiful long time friend by calling her names. I am now out. Night all x

Hi twass, we have one more who is always a late (I suspect she isn't even in calf, she's a rather old lady, but we're giving her the chance).

Pet lambs are relentless! When we had sheep they couldn't be contained and would show up at the kitchen door if they thought it was feed time!
I watched something on TV in the week about some sheep farmers somewhere. They had orphaned or abandoned lambs in what they called the pet pen. The farmer's fianceee I think she was was describing what a big and barely economic commitment it was to rear them. I can see it would have been for her with so many and so many other tasks to do with 400 sheep all lambing. But I would have gladly had one to feed.

Is that the last of the new arrivals tk?

Here the bottle reared lambs are coming on a treat....I am sure they will be off the bottle soon. They certainly kick off a chorus of baaaas every time they spy a human. Humans mean milk
Hmm - I think you should read the pigs milk thread in GD. Where I live, Cows mean milk, goats mean milk, sheep sort of mean milk, even camels but humans - nah not an instant association. Unless he is in a white and blue coat with a flat cap and an electric vehicle without any sides.

Oh it's such hard work, the local radio here during lambing is full of pet lambs available or pet lambs wanted.

A pet lamb (Dubh, she was a black lamb) was so loved by tkjr we kept her for a sheep. Unfortunately she had zero maternal instinct and just let her own lambs die. Sad.
