oh lovely!! you live on Craggy Island!!!!

i like the isolated empty beaches, my favourite one is a bit of trek but it's at Bamburgh it has sand dunes and rock pools and an enormous castle it's always blowing a gale there though!
Teehee not quite but very near.

Sounds beautiful, we visit all year round at our local wearing wellies usually. Nite x

You must go to the beach planets! The sea is THERAPY. Well, away from the bingo halls and amusement arcades it is. I have many isolated stretches of beach nearby where you can just sit and watch the waves roll in, roll out......and you can find hagstones and other interesting flotsam and jetsam on the shore. Make sure you go this summer

I will try!!! It was only chatting with tk i realised i hadn't been since before my op! It's quite a hike away so i'm not quite ready to be upright lng enough to there and back!
But i LOVE a bit of beach combing!! There's a beach north of WHitby which is all purple pebbles!! If you go to the beaches south of Whitby after a storm you can collect jet !!

we were promised heat today and it's just cold grey and rainy again

Ooooh you are near Dracula country, how fabulous. The jet and purple stones sound fab, I would love to beachcomb there! Maybe in another month you'd be up for the trip. Luckily for me beaches are about 20 mins drive and I have quite a few to choose from on the North Kent coast.

should I get the fan heater out

Car now clean, although why I bother I don't know, insects were busy pooing all over the car as I was cleaning it [and on me] plus the first tractor to go past will unleash a layer of muck and grime over it. Still, it's cleaner than it was

Hello all, 22 here now but it has clouded over, 8 am it felt like Crete!

Finally got my hair cut (my hairdresser retired 3months ago and never got round to finding a new one). Well I'm delighted and feeling 10 years younger. Celebrated by buying strawberries and cream, leaving large portions in the Chin proof safe

I've had a fabulous bop and cheese and pineapple on sticks, been blowing bubbles and singing along to the cheesy old pop songs!! I shall drag my poor old carcass to bed shortly. Much fun was had and the birthday girl was having a ball Draughty old village hall had been transformed with dozens of helium balloons and banners, bunting and all sorts.

Sounds fab, my kind of do. Reminds me of a camping weekend years ago, when we wandered along cliffs looking for a pub, and folowed lights . Showed up at a private bash and were welcomed in, it was a wedding reception. Happy memories

Afternoon all ladles and jellyspoons Finally lovely summery weather has arrived down south. I have spent most of the day toiling in the garden, just had a much needed bath, scrubbed the mud off my feet, and now relaxing in clean scruffies in case I get my second wind and can do a bit more later!

Lavender and geraniums were amongst the things I planted too! The lobelia was done a while back. THe bunnies tend to leave them alone, so in they go every year! Enjoy your bite
