Well we seem to be in accord. I am glad because I thought not enjoying Versailles made me some sort of philistine. Plodding and passionless are the perfect pair of adjectives.

As for the necklace. I am not the sort of woman who you would look at and get the Boho vibe, but as an occasional statement piece, me likey!
I am very disappointed because there was a good story to be told, good locations, we know George can act (oh Athelstan) what went wrong? Writing/script?

It's quite heavy, I borrowed it a couple of times when she and I shared a flat after I had just left her dad, nearly ten years ago. I do have something fairly similar which I was given by my best beloved [I met him six months after moving out of the marital home I hasten to add] who had very good taste in jewellery. 31 years I had known my husband and he never gave me any at all, 8 years with himself and I have more jewellery than I can wear!!!
Mrtk bought me a new wedding ring in Crete a few years ago. It was €6. He bargained down to €5. It's a good job I love him.

We can't be the only ones to find it lacking. George was amazing as Athelstan. He seems very cold as Louis somehow .........

What's your ring made out of??

Maybe it will improve?

My new ring (bought after old ring wouldn't fit) is silver and I love it.

It was a bargain then!

I don't like gold at all personally and only ever wear silver.

Oh you two make good friends. My best friend doesn't like gold only silver. I went to buy her a pair of Rennie Macintosh inspired earring for a special birthday one year and they were so cheap. I was almost embarrassed to give such a cheap birthday gift. I had to pad it out with a half box of wine.

Oh I would be delighted with RM inspired earrings. Really, really not bothered with cost. (Only annoyed that Mr tk wasted an hour of our holiday bargaining).

Haha you wouldn't dream of causing trouble An!

Hope everyone's ok this fine evening, got my new drill, thanks Argos. No questions asked, just handed over a new one (which is now €80 more than I paid for the original) and a new one year guarantee. Top marks.

I know, it's so good and so unusual to receive such excellent service.

Anyone tried Aldi's new brioche buns/hot dog rolls? Rather yummy.
